Hey there, guys!

I have a question with EVing my Pokemon:

How does the Pokerus work with Exp. Share? Does the Active have to have Pokerus, or do both have to have Pokerus? Do the EVs stack with the Power Items?

I'm not sure, but I don't think a Pokemon gaining EXP from Exp. Share will get any EV's. I think you HAVE to have the Pokemon get out of its Poke Ball first. And yes, Pokerus and Power Items do stack: it takes the boost you got from the Power Items and then doubles it!

I do know that if your Pokemon gain Experience, then they gain EVs as well. But what I want to know is if the Pokemon with Exp. Share have to have Pokerus along with the Active?

That is incorrect. If a Pokemon has EXP Share on, but does not actually enter the battle, it still gets the EVs. I found that out the hard way.

Thanks, Grizzly! Personally, I would think that whatever target Pokemon you have in mind would need to have Pokerus on its own to double the EV's. I imagine that even the active wouldn't need Pokerus as long as your target Pokemon had it.

The doubling effect of PokeRus is applied on whichever Pokemon (singular or plural) happens to have it. So if a Pokemon with EXP Share has PokeRus and gains some EXP, it would gain twice the EVs of whatever the opposing fainted Pokemon was. It doesn't matter whether or not your Active had PokeRus or not.

What about the Power Items? Does the Exp. Sharer get the Power Item benefits?

The reason of my asking is that I do not want to overdo the EVing of my Pokemon for the VGC.

This is implying that a Pokemon can hold 2 items at once, which as you should know is impossible.
