I know, or so I read, that you can only evolve a delta into a delta... you can evolve Gloom d (physic) into a Vileplume d (physic) but can you evolve the SAME Gloom d into a Bellossom d (water)?

Delta is not part of the name and therefore the names you are using are just reference, really that poke is just Gloom, it could also evolve into a bellosom (grass) or from a grass oddish. You have been misinformed.

ah. okay then. thank you.

You can evolve d pokemon into non d pokemon. For example, Larvitar d can be evolved into Pupitar d or a regular fighting type Pupitar. A Pupitar d can be evolved into Tyranitar d, Tyranitar ex d, or Tyranitar ex.

Hope this helps.

It did, thank you a lot!

Beware the difference between team rocket's dark and regular. Delta is unaffected but thosee and * pokemon cannot evolve into their respective others. I.E. Treecko * into grovyle.

Same as for Team Magma's and Team Aqua's. or Ex's. (Grovile into Sceptile Ex doesn't count)
