EX POWER KEEPERS

I'm really excited from what I've seen. In particular, the fossil pokes are what I'm really shocked about. Omistar is reprinted (YES), Kabotops has a similar body to that of skyridge (YES) with drag-off (YES), and armaldo can be really nasty with swampert ex and blissey ex. Some of the reprints I'm also really exicited about (decatty, machamp, slaking). This set looks great, even without seeing the trainers. STEVE'S ADVICE FTW.

Yup, they have been confermed. http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=47920&page=1

sweet..lol

a lot of decks will be using those...
I am so psyched, I want the Pichu and the Raichu (Pichu's search is decent for an electric deck searching for a basic or evo...) I'm trying to think of a good combo besides Dragonite DS and Amph from UF...

Anyway, cant wait till new scans get up

is there anyword on new bulbasoars, ivysaors and venusoars?

There is no venusaur line in the set.

Now I can say, claydol ex and flygon ex are VERY dissapointing, they are just lame.

I like the sally ex, now sallygross has an even better attacker.
150 damage for RRCC and discarding the top 5 cards of your deck, that actually pretty good if you compare it to Ttar ex UF.

The guy that is providing the info on the cards at pokegym has been correct about the other information he has given so far, so I think the info about the ex's is true too unfortunately. I like salamance, metagross, shiftry, and skarmory but all of the other ex's really aren't very appealing at all.

To clarify once for all:

Salamence ex 160HP

[RRCC] Volcanic Flame 150
Discard the top 5 cards from your deck.

[WWCC] Hydro Wave
Discard all W energy attached to Salamence ex. This attack does 30 damage to each of your opponent's benched Pokémon. (Don't apply weakness or resistance for benched Pokémon)

Weakness: C
Resistance: R/F
Retreat Cost: CC

---

Claydol ex 120HP

Poké-Power Type Shift
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may use this power. Claydol ex's type is F until the end of your turn.

[CC] Psychic Boom 20+
Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each Energy attached to the Defending Pokémon.

[PPC] Shadow Crush 60
You may discard a P Energy card attached to Claydol ex. If you do, discard an Energy card attached to the Defending Pokémon.

Weakness: P
Resistance: none
Retreat: CC

---

Flygon ex 150HP

Poké-Body Psychic Protector
If Flygon ex is damaged by an opponent's attack, you may discard up to 4 cards from your hand. If you do so, any damage done to Flygon ex is reduced by 10 for each card you discarded.

[CCC] Slashing Strike 70
Flip a coin. If tails, Flygon ex can't use Slashing Strike during your next turn.

Weakness: C
Resistance: L/F
Retreat: none

That is the info from The Gym'

The trick I see with the new Flygon ex is to have at leat two of them up and ready. If your main attacker hits a tails then next turn just retreat him and have the other one attack. Free retreat. :)

Still it's too bad that it can't stand on its own very well.

Does anyone have any ideas with the Raichu from this set????

I can only think of one, but it has to be set up incredibly well for it to work...

Scramble, DRE, warp energy and 2 dragonites on bench.
His HP is bad.

IF real, that Claydol is actually pretty good...The Salamence is TERRIBLE....This set really bites...Only one decent EX(Skarmory)
