Discussion Fake or Real?

I got plenty of fake cards in my collection. I know all fakes can be different, but here's what you want to look for.
1. Are they actually paper or cardboard?- A Team Plasma Lugia EX in my collection is made of a cardboard so thin it would look convincing, if it weren't for my next point
2. Is it foil?- This can be a tricky one, but if it isn't foil when it should be, then you got a fake. Otherwise it's hard to tell. Some cards have a brighter, orangish offset foil on them that makes it pretty clear that they aren't real
3. Discolored, faded back of card- this especially stands out when the Image side of the card is new-looking, but the back looks faded like it came out of a copy machine.

Yes. Excellent point. I've encountered many a card with letters that are randomly in italics. Another no-brainer is also the names of the Pokemon and what they evolve from. I got a SUM Incineroar in my collection that evolves from Eevee.
