Fake Pokemon Cards

I saw a pack for $2.50, and I thought that was a huge bargain. I lol'ed when they were fake, and filed merchandise fraud. Doesn't having your store shut down suck? :D

I got a "Legends Awakened" Pack (I knew they were fake just by feeling the pack) I bought it because I was curious. ALL the cards were from the "Rising Rivals" Set, There were only 9 Cards(Instead of 10) Lots of Spelling Errors, and Crooked Sides.
Never Again Will I Buy Cards From The Dollar Store....

Fake cards are hilarious.
I kind of want to try collecting the most ridiculous ones I can find. Sadly, most of the stores who sell bootlegs around don't sell any sort of weird cards.

Although I have been wanting to report them for selling that crap anyways.

about 5 or 6 years ago I brought a pack that had charmander/charmelon/charizard all on the same card with a really bad holo background. I ended up trading all the cards from the pack for real cards apart from that 1 (I ended up giving that card to my brother as a present) never buy cards from stalls again.

I was at league one day and my friend brought in these tiny boxes that had 40 cards in them each. They had the "official" Nintendo and Pokemon USA symbols on them. There was an Arceus Level X but it was spelt Arcys.

I've never unintentionally bought fake Pokemon cards. And only once unintentionally bought fake cards of any other game. I've deliberately bought fakes before, though, I collect them since they're harder to get than actual cards. It's also a challenge to build decks with them, since they tend to focus on evolutions and Lv. Xs and such, so you get crap all common/uncommon basics and pretty much no energy.

Yeh fake cards are funny sometimes, 2 of my friends have bought them, I haven't although I did trade for a nidoqueen that was spelled nidoueen

When I first started collecting again I didnt know much about what a box looked like. I was at a flee market (never buy anything from those) and they had a box of whatever series had Honchkrow X in it. I had a strong feeling it was fake, but curiosity got the better of me and I bought it. Guess what, fake.

I bought a pack with my girlfriend not long ago. We knew it was fake but it was cheap and it looked kind of cool. They were in a little cardboard box and were labeled Arceus Prerelease. We got forty cards for next to nothing and a sweet RH Metang which is kind of cool even if they are fake. It actually was good we bought them because we are running a Pokemon Camp this summer and we are going to use them to compare to their real counterparts to teach kids how to tell the difference.

I have an "Azelf Lv. X" that does "Deep Balance" for 200 damage for 1 P eneregy and no drawbacks.....If only it were real...

Mom went to Korea, and she bought me a pack. It was REALLY hard to open the Base Set pack she bought me...so I knew something wasn't right. The cards felt like they were from construction paper. They were the size of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I got a card, "Ringuma," which didn't even come until Johto. Ringuma did 600 damage. It had 9000 HP. (Ringuma is Japanese for Ursaring.)

The pack was fake. :[

Don't know if you all count this as a fake card, but a long while ago (2 and a half years?) I got the Feraligatr Dragon Frontiers theme deck. And there was a blank card inside!!!! There was the normal back to it and the yellow boarder but past that was all white ^-^ (the blank card was supposed to be a Delta Species Toto).

I`ve never bought a fake pack of Pokemon Cards. I`ve suprisingly never seen a fake pack for sale in Ireland before
