NOTES
So I finally had the incentive to make my own card set.
The theme is genetics, probably inspired because I'm taking genetics this semester at school.
The HELIX Block introduces Pokemon HELIX, getting rid of Pokemon LEGEND and Pokemon Prime.
These Pokemon are far more superior than their regular counterparts due to genetic manipulations.
The cards in this set are arranged in Japanese order.
There are three alternate color Pokemon included, like the last three DPt sets,
as well as one secret rare, a la the LEGEND sets.
Here are the set statistics:
Common 23
Uncommon 17
Rare 13
Rare Holo 10
Ultra Rare Holo 7
Trainers 16
Special Energy 2
Secret Rare 1
This set is mostly personal because it contains all of my favorite Pokemon,
plus some that I had to include (Mewtwo, Deoxys) or else the set would make no sense.
I'm planning on getting these cards printed and actually put them in a collection binder,
though I have no idea where I could get the holos printed.
I will be creating all new blanks, probably with a new font as well.
Even though this is called H1, I probably won't be making H2, H3 etc,
or else I would have spaced my favorites out among the sets.
Thread will be updated as I create new cards.
Let me know what you guys think of the set!

MECHANICS
POKÉMON HELIX: These Pokémon are genetically manipulated organisms, resulting in a more powerful Pokémon. Each Pokémon HELIX has either a Poké-Power or Poké-Body caused by this genetic manipulation. Pokémon HELIX are played exactly like Pokémon PRIME. A new mechanic introduced with Pokémon HELIX comes in the form of attaching Pokémon to Pokémon HELIX, which is discussed in the next mechanic. As Pokémon HELIX do not actually have "HELIX" in their name written on the card, like PRIME cards, you may only have up to four of the Pokémon and Pokémon HELIX in a deck; for example: 2 Scizor and 2 Scizor HELIX.
HELIX ATTACK/POKÉ-POWER/POKÉ-BODY: Some Pokémon may have an attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body enclosed in a DNA-like ribbon. This means this Pokémon has a HELIX _____, and can be attached to a Pokémon HELIX. That Pokémon HELIX will be able to use that HELIX Attack as long as it has the required energy to do so, and can use that HELIX Poké-Power or Body as if it were naturally theirs. While attached to a Pokémon HELIX, that Pokémon card counts as a DNA card, discussed in the next section.
DNA: Along with GOODS, SUPPORTER and Trainer cards return TOOLS, but with a twist. DNA cards attach to an Active Pokémon and are discarded when that Pokémon is moved to the bench. The DNA Trainer cards are sequences of DNA introduced to Pokémon that may give them an edge in battle: extra HP, more resistance, less weakness, etc.
