Fakemon Competition- Voting!​

In this thread, we will vote on who we think has the best set of entries. The winners creation(s) will added to the Pokebeach Fakedex, and as this will also be the first entry ever to be added to it, it's pretty special. I won't bog you down will an endless list of rules, but I insist that you read this thread properly, and look through each and every entry, before voting.

How to vote...

Nothing difficult here. You must vote for your three favourite entries. Whoever has the most votes at the end of the one week voting period will be declared the winner. An example vote would be:

Here are the rules and guidelines for voting.

- Don't be swayed by what other people have voted. If everyone has voted for competitor 2, then don't also vote for him just because he is popular. Conversely, if someone is popular, then don't throw away the vote just because that person has a lot already.

-You cannot vote for yourself! Also, you may not vote for the same person twice.

-Pay attention to how well the entry fits the theme given (in this case, the entry must be bulky or defensive). A submission may be a fantastic piece of art, but how well does it fit the competition requirements? Consider this when you cast your votes.

-You may change your vote (before the 1 week is up, that is). However, if you do, please edit your original voting post rather than make a new post altogether. If you do multiple vote posts, there's a risk that I will count the same person twice.

Everyone who entered had incredible art whether it was computer generated, hand drawn or a combination. It was a privilege to compete with such talented artists.

Most of these were amazing, I had a pretty hard time picking just 3, so I guess I might've gone with personal preference a little. Great job to pretty much everyone, though.

Seems like it's gonna be between Xous and bacon here.. suck-ups :O
Can't say it wouldn't have been this way otherwise, though.
 
There were a lot of cool ones, but I thought these were the best.

imo, those were the really unique drawings. the mushroom had to be my favorite entry.
 
I think that people might be drifting from the theme :s.

All of them showed clear starter lines, (I would have no problem picking the Basic Pokemon as starter Pokemon) and Bulky final evolutions, some that were pretty unique.

Bravo to everyone with their submissions, can't wait till the next one, this was a blast.

scampy: you have a lot of detail, I voted you because they look defensive, and have a green look to them which makes them look grassy.

Mrs. Aforcer: It doesn't look defensive, but it matches the grass/dark theme perfectly. Love the art.

Medaforcer: A mushroom pokemon is pretty cool, detailed, and defensive looking to me. Only problem is that the next 2 evolutions were differently colored, but otherwise was good.

4.) Xous: Great art, but then again the colors are a bit off, they don't look like dark typed pokemon.

5.) GoRockQuadsGiratina: Sorry but I changed it to medaforcer, because I realized that yours looked a bit skinny, and I realized they were supposed to be bulky and defensive looking. Unique animal pick but it doesn't look real.
 
Like others have said, this is a real tough choice. The three that I am voting for are, in my opinion, the best entries that fit the requirements of bulky/defensive, while still clearly being a grass/dark type.

I didn't really pick mine on drawing quality like most will. The reason xous' didn't come first was because althoguh the art was IMO superior to most other entries, I didn't like the design of the evo line. The excellent art earned you a podium finish. Phazon's idea was original and he was brave with it, turning it into something nice, and bacon's designs were brilliant, coupled with descent sketches to go with them.

All three of oyu were fantastic, and so were many other entires. Good luck everyone!

whew. glad thats over.
major props to SR, xous, phazon, and everyone else as well. they were all amazing. i wish the pokedex could fit them all.

EDIT: i hope people actually READ he entries, as mine is only defensive because of its signature move, stats and abilities. but still defensive nonetheless
