I want to set this straight here. Gyarados learns Bounce. :p

IMHO, Mantine and Dodrio should not have gotten the Flying typing. Dodrio can in fact learn Fly, yet cannot fly....

Gligar/Gliscor glide. Hoppip/Skiploom/Jumpluff are carried by the wind. That's pretty much all other Flying types that can't really fly. However, they do get air time.
Don't worry, though, your chick's arm-wings are better than Delibird's. xD

The body style reminds me of Lucario, which I do not like. Otherwise, good concept (though maybe a little too well drawn).
 
When I think Fighting/Flying, I think a harpy of some kind... one of you guys should try that out. ;D
 
A harpy is too human, despite how fitting the typing would. It would resemble more a mutated human than a creature or animal.
 
Workin' on my flying Squirrel. I'm surprised all of the entries so far are birds actually.

Keshi has a real interesting idea there, and I love the design. I'd be totally pleased to see that in any Fakedex.
 
If I can get around to doing it, I'll base mine around Sharovipteryx.

The gargoyle pokemon.
Base poke (top) is light chartreuse; evo (bottom) is dark grey/brown.

While in flight, the foot membranes would act as rudders.

Umm... all of these are really good...
I never got the time to finish my entry, but I will enter the next fakemon competition for sure now that I found a scanner!
 
Was kinda hoping we'd get more entries really. I'll extend the deadline to this Friday. Get working, guys!

Sorry for the lack of updates and such, I have been extremely busy lately. I might need to start choosing people who I trust to run parts of this project.

To clarify, what I asked for was:

-Lots of information on your designs.
-Sketches at different angles, so we know what your idea looks like from all sides.
-Must be in colour. If you have no access to colours for whatever reason, label what parts of your design are in what colour.
-We will have a seperate vote for names and dex entries, so do not include these in your submissions at all.

Apophys, although the idea of a gargoyle is cool, the entry you submitted just didn't have enough body to it- there was not much information given, not much detail, no colour, etc.
