My favorite movie is Tekkon Kinkreet which could be considered anime, but it's mostly just animation done by Japanese people.
Edit because I forgot Dragon Ball Z.
Can't believe people still like Naruto after how terrible the Anime ended up, but I gotta say the Manga has gotten better even though the protagonist has been as relatively poor as Sasuke. I really have a distaste for both Naruto and Sasuke and this is one of the reasons why I like the main cast of the Dragonball series so much better. I don't think there will ever be a Shonen Jump series that beats DBZ unless If it's either One Piece or Bleach.
Kinda sad that nowadays nobody is giving the Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime a chance like they did with Yu-Gi-Oh! on KidsWB. Is Vanguard THAT bad compared to Yu-Gi-Oh!? I don't think so and I enjoy the Japanese Sub for it alot but I don't mind the English Dub for it either. It's funny how everyone automically jumps onto the nostalgia bandwagon while not giving other Anime/Manga series a chance to shine even If they aren't as widely popular in America especially when they allow their bias to cloud their judgment on that sort of criteria.

Naruto manga has gotten really bad because Kishimoto is a piss poor writer. This really shows during the current arc where his consistency, pacing, and storytelling have been piss poor. Is Kishi too homo to characters to kill them off? Why has Obitio Tobi not used his Rennegan? Why is Madara so damn OP? When did Rasengan stop being a good move lol? Seriously, get it together Kishi. Part 1 was amazing but part 2 was "okay" (and borderline at that). I blame everything on the end of the Pain Arc which was AMAZING until the end.

Not that it's bad or anything but I feel that Kubo sort of jumped the shark on Bleach when he changed Rukia's character design to match with that of a filler character in the Anime. It didn't suffer with as many filler episodes as Naruto did thank God but it was one of the most tolerable Anime/Manga series out there. I'd still prefer watching Yu Yu Hakusho over it but alot of people would say that it's too dated considering it was an Anime/Manga that was released in the early 90's.

Mind you I actually saw what transpired after the Pain Arc after trying to break away from the series as a whole, and it eventually got better but at the same time it was really predictable especially how we knew Tobi was Obito anyway. Naruto the character himself and Sasuke are by far the worst characters ever made in a Anime/Manga series, they're so 2 dimensional it's not even funny. I can name a whole list of Anime/Manga characters that were well written and better designed than those two.
Guys, make sure to avoid posting spoilers, even the obvious ones like who Tobi is. Nobody likes being spoiled. It's not like I'm going to warn you or anything if you do (I'll instead just spoiler or coat it in white), but try to respect this. Would you be mad if you were just getting into One Piece and I told you what happens at the end of the Marine Ford arc? Yeah, I thought so.

That is true, because there are Seven Basic Plots. So you can see similarity between most everything. The differences are what sets a show apart.

I don't watch to much anime other than on toonami or read a lot a manga , but I liked Casshern Sins(finished on yt) and am currently watching Eureka Seven (might buy the dvd to watch the rest... toonami is too slow.). I remember watching Naruto when it started and hardly watched it, but I did watcha good bit of the Naruto Hundo in like 2006. I also saw One Piece when it started but I lost track of it and don't feel like catching up. I might watch FMA since it looks pretty cool.
Also, I think Bleach is pretty lame too, But that might be cause I just watch it waiting for other anime to start on Toonami

I recently started reading D.Gray Man and oh my Arceus I love it
I've haven't really read that much manga but this is definitely my favourite so far. I'm on about Chapter 50 so far.

I just started rewatching Dragon Ball and I remembered how inappropriate it is. There's not one episode where Bulma isn't being sexually harassed.
I really love this show though, Kid Goku is such a funny little dude.

As far as manga, I just started reading Ginga Densetsu(silver fang legends) WEED, and I think it's pretty great.
