Same here. Yes, it counts, as it was published and approved by Nintendo, plus it's Mario! Have you watched "Rawest Forest" yet? It's on Newgrounds and Youtube. It's set to the Forest Maze theme, it's AWESOME!!!
 
I would say Zelda: the ocarina of time does it for me. I know its old but I just cant get over how fun it was and still is. Oh and any pokemon game really, that is one of the reasons I post on these forums.
 
Wario games all the way! Mario Kart Double Dash is my favorite game for the Game Cube next to Luigi's Mansion, which is my favorite for that system.
 
I love some of the original Nintendo games. The original Mario parties and Mario Golf for the Nintendo 64 take the cake along with my GBC favorites such as Mario Golf for that console and Kirby's Adventure 2 and Pokemon Red. I'm a fan of old games, I love collecting them! =D

Red Version, I can still remember the first time I beat the elite 4. The origional Mario and Zelda games are also up there.
