What's your favorite region in the main-series Pokemon games?

Mine's Hoenn. Sure it may have a lot of water, but it has a desert, a rain forest, a route and city covered in volcanic ash, a treehouse city, a floating city, a real beach, and a city inside a dormant volcano. Plus the starters were the best.

Just...wow. I've never actually played the region, but hey, I like the Pokemon.

Sinnoh is fantastic. Even if it doesn't have that much, it has an island after you beat the elite 4 where you can do a lot of things. Don't forget the underground and snowy routes/city. My second favourite is Hoenn.

Sinnoh. I don't know why but the fact that it immediately pops into my head when asked the question should make it pretty obvious that it's my favorite.

I have not touched a Hoenn region game, but I think I juuuuust might go buy Emerald to fulfill my urge to ride in the back of a moving van.

Hoenn man. It's the best. It's so interesting. And the layout and path you take is just cool. Unlike Unova which has a bad design layout to me.

Terrain: Unova, Hoenn being a close second
Music: Unova again (though Hoenn does have a sweet soundfont. GSC is up there as well)
Pokemon: I'll have to go with Hoenn overall, despite the fact there's no Eeveelutions there.

Overall, I'm giving it to Hoenn. The music and general layout of the game were the best to me. However, I enjoyed the Pokemon and storyline of Sinnoh a bit more than the others.

Map design: Sinnoh
Cities & Routes: Unova, most definitely. Lacunosa Town and Village bridge...
Music: I like Sinnoh's jazzy and mystical mood but Lacunosa Town has my all-time favourite Pokémon BGM and Unova has many other awsome tunes too. Nah. Unova has the best music.

Man, now I want to visit the Underground with some friends. ;u; I spent HOURS down there!

Honestly, I did not really care for Sinnoh's music, much. I felt that it had too much of a... err... high-pitched nautical sound. There is really no other way to describe it.

As far as the storyline, Sinnoh, in my opinion, was the most involved (in Platinum).

Platinum Post-Game = Amazing.

Hoenn is the best thing ever. If I could have any Pokemon in real life it would be Flygon. It also has amazing starters and Emerald is an amazing game.
