February Filler Set

Do you guys think there is gonna be a filler set? We have about 17 cards left from Lost Link, and there are not that many Japanese promos left. It happened before with Ex Power Keepers. So what do you think?
 
I think so too. Much like with what was in PK, I think including those 17 cards and other HGSS promos we didn't get, we'll also be having US-made cards to increase the amount in the set.

Why could there be a filler set? DP came out in April, and then the cards set came out in May. BW is planned to come out around the time DP did, and if this continues, then the BW set could come out in May.
 
I think we're getting a filler. Look at the time period from Triumphant to Black and white (supposedly)

Thats like 3-5 months i def think we r getting a filler
 
I hope so. HS: Unforgettable has a nice ring to it.

Promos, Lost Link and a few English only cards should bring it to about 100 cards in total, slightly less if anything.

Who would you want to see in there? I'm betting on Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno Legends and a Jirachi Prime. Maybe Porygon-Z prime! *fingers crossed*.
 
Depends, do consider both Platinum and HGSS hit before their respective games. If B&W ends up hitting earlier then we anticipate, we might see B&W for our February set.
 
^^ but then again platinum and HGSS are the same generation. Since its new pokemon i highly doubt the cards will come out before the game.
 
well, February's set will be revealed in Late November. so if February's set turns out to be a BW set we can be for sure the games will come in March. not to rain on anyone's parade but, i think that having English exclusive cards like Pokemon Prime and Legends is very unlikely considering that i don't think TPCi would print rare cards like Pokemon Prime and Legends and Japan not have the idea first. it just seems like something Japan would'nt miss out on. but i like the idea and it would be cool if they did that. Besides, we got all those BW promos Japan is getting right now. more than enough for February's set. my Guess is that if February set is a BW set, they will probably give us most of the BW Promos and some Cards from the Main BW set and Reserve the rest for May's Set. i want February's Set to be a BW Set Definitely, but i also want to get the rest of the HGSS Cards and Promos as well. we should really start getting like 2 or 3 Promos in Tins instead of 1. the only exception of them making English Exclusive Primes or Legends was the Pokemon Primes of the Johto Starters and that was because they were Reprints. but they have never put different Pokemon on Cards even though it would be nice to see a Shaymin and Giratina Legend or Arceus Prime. that would be cool. i really want the games to come out in March so yes, i hope there is a BW Set in February.
 
I'd love it because there's a bunch of Japanese DP promo odds and ends that I'd like to have (namely DPt-P 47, Jigglypuff, for cuteness), but it doesn't seem very likely. :(
 
I'd say it's possible, but not necessarily likely... There's no guarantee such a set would have LEGENDs or Primes, though it's a safe assumption. Whether they're new or reprint is anyone's guess, though Power Keepers' EX's were all new, so it's possible. (There are a lot of possible Primes/LEGENDs. If I had to make a prediction, I'd say one of the other trios made in the style of the Johto trio's LEGENDs, and some unpredictable Primes. I'd have to wonder, though, which region the set would presumably be based on... I'm doubting Johto would be, since it's already been a focus, and all its logical Primes/LEGENDs are done. Kanto seems the best bet. If that were the case, I'd hazard a guess that it would be Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres LEGENDs and Venusaur/Charizard/Blastoise Primes, not sure what, if any, others would be included, maybe Mewtwo or Dragonite...)

Of course, all that speculation is only if there IS a filler set. Again, in no way are there any guarantees. Still, I hope there is one. Reprints would be nice, especially if they're of older cards that aren't currently legal.
 
I find this highly unlikely. First of all, PI doesn't make new cards. They just repackage whatever japan comes out with. So everyone wanting a prime of their favorite pokemon, just give up.

If they made a filler set with the missing cards from lost link and japanese promos, it would be a set full of rares. Many of which would probably be shiny legendaries. Which would be a pretty silly set. Furthermore has anyone stopped to think that they were left out of Triumphant for a reason? Why would they leave out only the most broken cards from a set if they planned to just release them later?
 
I think the main reason PUSA cut out the Lost link stuff was because of their value.
if nothing was cut, then TRIUMPHANT would be a very very expensive set with tons of valuable cards.
i know PUSA always makes sure that sets are about equal value, giving each set some good cards.

My main reason for posting, is that, there are options that they can do. They did say, "Look forward to seeing more shiny Pokémon in upcoming sets" Those are the 11 of the 22 L-P Promos. And, EX Power Keepers contained cards from all of Generation 3's eras in japan, so maybe a filler set would contain cards from all over Generation 4's Japanese releases? Just somethings to think about.
 
if there were to release this set, it would be a very very small set.
whats the likelihood of PUSA making up new cards like they did in ex power keepers
 
I don't know about a filler set in February. we don't have that many cut cards to get. if we go a filler set then the set would be extremely small(30 cards of less)plus now we now got BW Promos to get and the Main BW set. I still don't know how we are going to get the rest of the Shiny Legendary cards.
