I had this idea a while ago, and it was one of two decks on my mind for States. So, here it is in its now skeletal form.

2-1-2 Feraligatr Prime
3-3 Golduck (TR)

And I have two trainers in mind so far for sure (besides staples)

3-4 Engineer's Adjustments
3-4 Energy Retrieval

Setup a Golduck active, Feraligatr Prime on the bench and just start pounding for some serious damage and healing powers. Engineer's Adjustments because I know I'm going to have a lot of energy and get them back with Energy Retrieval. Thanks, and let me hear your comments because I want to use this deck next season!:p

I would def say that Mantine from HGSS is a MUST here, not to mention 3-4 Rare Candy. You'll need 2-3 Mantine. It's a great search tech and gets stuff out fast. Also Staples like PONT, PETM, Collectors. You know the drill right?

Load it up with Kyurem (when it's released) so that you have stuff to put the energy into because Golduk is ridiculously soft.

^ That is true, but with the right set up it will out speed alot, thus Damage output is much better.\

However Blastzel or BlastGatr is a better choice of deck IMO. This would make a great League deck though.

This could actually be cool with Seeker and Shaymin..

Heal all you want when you get damaged then Shaymin moves the energies around to your bench. Although this can't be used for competitive if Zekrom and Magnezone are still rampant. This will fare a little nicely against the Reshi-Variants though

I used to run this before Blastgatr and Blastzel, and trust me, Blastoise varients are sooooooo much better.

yea golduck is toooo weak, alot of things will be able to one shot it and ull be out alot of energy.

Thanks for the comments. I was thinking about Kyurem. Is there a translation so I can see what it does? Anyone have an idea of a Zekrom/Magnezone counter? I thought that would be its main weak point.:p

kyurem and feraliagtor both arnt weak to lightning.

and kyurem is

Kyurem – Water – HP130
Basic Pokemon

[C][C] Outrage: 20+ damage. This attack does 10 more damage times the number of damage counter on this Pokemon.
[W][W][C]: Glaciate: This attack does 30 damage to each of your opponent’s Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)

Weakness: Metal (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

I think that Golduck needs to be substituted with Kyurem. Anything Zekrom is gonna wreck Golduck, and only having 90 HP, you're just gonna get tossed around. You need more beef than that. Kyurem's got a decent spreading attack that will stack up, and in the end, more reliable being a Basic with 130 HP.

I could throw both of them in and set up based on their deck maybe. I want to keep Golduck in some way, maybe knock it down to a 2-2? Thanks!:p

The good thing about Kyurem is that it synergizes with Feral Prime's Hydro Crunch... Assuming that you get two of Kyurem's attack, nothing in the metagame can survive a Hydro Crunch barring Samurott BW.

Actually, I made a deck similar to this(same concept anyways)
4-4 Golduck
2-2-2 Feraligatr
4 Mantine
4 Delibird
2-2-2 Blastoise

Ideally I start with a Mantine and hopefully Delibird. I set up Feraligatr with Mantine, Delibird draws out nearly all my deck, set everything I need up, and one hit ko almost anything with Golduck.

I have 23 water energies. Counting it up, I can knock out a Wailord with 4 defenders in one hit. I also have a fisherman and a few interviewers.
It's a really really fun deck.

what about adding ability samurott to add some beef to the list.
I would do something like:

2-2-2 feraligatr
3-2-3 samurott
2-2 golduck (can be substituted with beartic or kyruem)
2 mantine
2 cleffa

+Staples like rare candy, PONT, PETM communication and collector.

Bwaaaa

Delibird is a must. Please don't play Mantine either, it is really just a waste of bench space. Pichu or Cleffa would be a better Pokemon to lead with. Shaymin UL is also very good with Golduck Feraligatr I have found through testing. If you are looking for a back up attacker, Kyurem will do when it is out. You could try adding in Magnezone for draw, and you could play some Rainbow Energy for Lost Burn.

Why wouldn't you use Mantine? It's perfect to get Feraligatr out. Plus you can use it till it just gets knocked out. I sacrifice mine almost every time..

Think about it. With a deck involving a Rain Dance aspect, you are going need to be playing a large amount of energy, meaning that room will be limited for needed Trainer techs and staple. To use 4 deck space, an energy and an attack on something that could just as easily be done with a Communication or Pokeball is an awful idea. After you use the attack, a good opponent would just Reversal around it and kill the benched Totodile that you just spent an attack on getting the Feraligatr for, that is now useless in your hand. Not to mention that it is a free prize late game, against almost any deck with an attacker, and you have to spend your energy of the turn on, it doesn't even work if you have no energy in your opening hand. A search for a Water Pokemon is not going to be needed enough to waste 4 deck spaces. Delibird is good because this deck dies down mid to late game, I have seen people draw over 10 cards with it, which can be a real game changer, and it only takes up 1 to 2 spaces.
