Strategy

The main strategy of this deck is to use Feraligatr Prime to accelerate water energy onto itself and Kingdras, while using Kingdra Prime's Spray Splash Poke-power to increase Feraligatr's damage output. BTS helps get set up by T2 or T3, and the Legends awakened Kingdra is for the potential donk, as well as energy recycling during late game.

I built this deck for an unlimited tournament I started at my league today, and it gave me some fantastic games, and the most fun I've had playing pokemon in a long time. I wanted to share this to get more input to possibly make it even better, or other cards that may pair well in the deck.

If I were you, I would cut the Tornadus-EX and the BTS, simply because they're not needed. You run four Rare Candy, which is plenty, and Tornadus-EX, in turn, won't have a Stadium in this deck to rely on to hit for 60 with Blow Through. I don't think you'll need to use Switch all that often, so drop that count to two. Here, we have four extra spaces in your deck. I'd add a fourth Professor Oak because he's that good, and then a fourth Gatr Prime. With the last two spots, I'm thinking about another Energy Retrieval. Roseanne's Research would also help you grab Horsea/Squirtle and some Water Energy from your deck, so it'll help regardless of your situation. The Level Ball is rather random, so play Luxury Ball instead. It's a card that grabs ANY Pokémon, excluding LV. X Pokémon. And because you don't run any...yeah. It's good.

Try this to start. Hope I helped!

It's funny about the level ball to luxury ball, because seconds after I posted this list, I actually did that. The thing about the Tornadus is it's based more for my local unlimited meta, where 100 or 110 (kingdra p) is a magic number. The BTS I find helpful because it lets me hit that magic donk sometimes, gets my energies flowing T1, or can give Tornadus that damage bump. I definitely value your input, and I'll try the changes you suggest. As far as the Switch point, I think you may be right about using 2. Thanks for your help!

Erika is insanely good draw for Unlimited. Caveat is that your opponent also gets to draw 3 cards. So if your deck can competitively race your meta, I'd make room for 3 Erika.

Hmmm... Room... I knoooow where I can force some, but being one of the gym leaders at my league, I have to show the young'ns what the fun cards were like back in the old days (Blaine's quiz, Lt surge's Secret Plan). Otherwise, I'd totally go for it.
