Oh, just remembered.
I was wondering if games had to be under a month in length, since voting for new games would happen by that time.

Because as soon as I allow one more game it's "one more this and one more that". I'm sticking to the plan. End of story.

Not true. It already started to be "one more this and one more that" when the mods killed the game corner, and then only allowed a couple of games to stay. Either way, you're going to have people complaining, and unfortunately you have to deal with it. I say just allow one more game now while everyone's gently suggesting it before it turns into a huge deal and it won't make yourselves look like stubborn fools.

They are not 'stubborn fools', they are doing what they can to make Pokèbeach even better. Two games are much better then none. So everyone vote and let the mod's do their job.

Yeah, that's great n' stuff, but I'm still at a lost concerning the length of games. Can't anyone answer?

I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape about people disagreeing with major decisions on the site. As long as they aren't flaming, I don't see why they should be able to voice their opinions.

None of these games are ones I have participated in before, although I wanted to play in The Challenge. So I chose that and MM. Glad Werewolf is staying.

I didn't say they were. I said if they didn't allow ONE more game to stay because it's clear that it's pretty much a three way tie, then yes, they probably would be.

Games will be given 30 days (1 month) from the start date. (Start date is the next day after poll results are counted) 2 weeks before the game ends there'll be a poll so the next month's games can be decided. Any suggestions for games that you'd like to be in the next poll should be sent to me earlier in the month or before the poll goes up. This includes well thought out ideas for new games.

Yikes. 1 month. Looks like I can't make anymore games, they'd way too long.
Oh well, I wonder how that would effect games like The Challenge which takes a long time.

So to stop from everyone complaining, two games are plenty to stay. They aren't changing their minds, which is good. If you want an RPG that's not listed, take it to PM or Profile comments. So no more complaing. Please. Mods are generous to let two games stay, three is pushing it. So vote vote vote!

This is the Challenge.

It looks like DNA and The Challenge are going to be the two that are staying. Those are what I voted for, so I guess I'm happy.

But Mushroom Mayhem did look fun. It's a shame it couldn't stay.

Don't give up hope yet! :O Come on people, we need votes for MM!

MM is just a Werewolf variant. If we lose it, yeah it will be sad, but we can still play the exact same game with Werewolf.

Yeah, that's why I voted for The Challenge and Trivia.

I mean MM is cool, but what's the difference between it and WW?

See, some of our early posts in this thread just prove that we need more mod-member communication. The mods just make a decision and the members just have to deal with it. At least take suggestions, nobody likes a monarchy.

Being on topic, it looks like MM is probably gonna be the one to go. Unless we can get more votes for it, I doubt it's gonna stay D:

I agree MM is a variation of Werewolf, but there are quite a few differences that make MM just as good if not better. First of all, useless roles are rare. Out of the two MM games I played, I saw one useless townie role and that's it. Have you ever played Werewolf and gotten a role that either forces you to post something stupid every time you post, or simply does nothing? They seem to be quite common in Werewolf. I have had one myself and while the game is still fun, you don't get the full experience because you pretty much don't have a role. Another thing is the hosts. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I personally feel that Bippa is a lot friendlier than someone like Zero when hosting these types of games. I will admit that MM has a couple of issues that could use some work, but you have to keep in mind that it's still a fairly new game and new games usually have a few problems to work out. The game is still young and has a lot of potential. Also, even if it is like Werewolf, that would mean any Werewolf player should be able to enjoy it as well. And that concludes why I think Mushroom Mayhem should stay. I hope you at least consider this post before casting your vote. Thanks.

Who said Zero was hosting Werewolf? He's only going to oversee it. Zero hasn't hosted a WW game in a long time, he just handles it and lets someone else be the game moderator. The good thing I like about werewolf is that the Game Moderator rotates which gives anyone a chance to handle it and be the head.

You mean an oligarchy.

sillykyle brings up valid points. However, MM can come back once all the problems are worked out. There's always another chance, which is what I like about this system.

"All the problems"? There are maybe a few at the most. Not really much more than most games (including Werewolf).

It's funny how we've removed the game corner, but it still continues to create arguments, spammy posts, and lack of communication. Kyle, you're really getting way too passionate about a couple of RPG's. Even if your favorites don't get chosen, you'll be able to play them as soon as the current games are finished and rotated. It's really not worth getting into an argument.
