Fire Primes?

also numel was printed in unleashed but no camerupt so maybe a connection there?

I am hoping for a magmortar or arcanine prime, but i will be happy with any primes if they are printed in call of legends.

@ electabuzzy: he was *goes and checks* O.O.....that is weird. lol maybe it was a mistake rofl. i guess it could be a sign. imagine if camerupt was your favorite poke. you get a numel in a pack and your like DUDE i have to have that camerupt so you but packs and buy packs and buy packs and never get him...funny yet sad at the same time.

^Or... you could check the set list online...
Well, that could mean we are getting a Camerupt Prime, but I don't know...
Personally, however, I think we will not see Primes in CoL. If you look at the border of the Primes, the holographic edge has the distinct gold-and-silver pattern of HGSS-series cards. Now, I would assume this means Primes were intended to be HGSS-exclusive. I'm not sure we'll be seeing any in CoL, seeing as it is not part of HGSS.

if you look at the cards they still have the bordering. so yes it most likly is a HGSS set just without...HGSS in the name

Depending on what kind of power, or body, it has, it could make fire decks a bigger pain than some of them already are(Charizard)

A charizard prime would be nice. Along with all the other original starters. Also a Moltres prime would be sweet.

Charizard gets EVERYTHING.
Base Set Charizard, Charizard ex, Charizard G LV.X, and now Charizard Prime? Eh, Charizard's had enough spotlight.
Besides, there will be no more Primes. Sorry.

Not Pikachu ex. Or Pikachu Prime. Or Pikachu LV.X.
The point is Charizards get all the "special" cards (or at least a heck of a lot) compared to the rest of the fire-types...

That's because Pokemon-ex and Pokemon Prime tend to be fully evolved versions of the Pokemon. He's not saying there are too many "special" versions of Pikachu...just that there have been a lot of Pikachu printed, from across every set. Even with sets that don't have a Raichu, there have been Pikachu printed in them.

As for Pikachu LV.X? Heheheh...who's to say it doesn't exist?

Well, the reason Pikachu was discussed was because I had mentioned that Charizard gets a whole lot of the special cards of the different eras. A Charizard Prime would just add to that.
Pikachu is the iconic Electric-type because it's the iconic Pokémon in general. But it hasn't really been featured with a lot of special cards... sure, it's been in a great number of promotional cards, but for the most part, none that someone would use except for the purpose of evolving it into Raichu in competitive play.
As for Pikachu LV.X, it doesn't exist. I never said Pikachu M LV.X didn't exist; besides, it's Japanese-exclusive.

A Pikachu which is a LV.X does exist. Don't split hairs.

It also happens to be Japanese-exclusive, as well as a Pokémon M and it's also pretty bad (not worth playing, at least). It's not a big-name card like Base Set Charizard or Charizard ex, or even Charizard G LV.X.

Then start paying more attention to things outside your narrow sphere of "Pokemon cards printed in English" =D

Ok, let me try to get some discussion: Anyone think we are going to get anymore Primes? If this doesn't get much discussion, it can be locked. Thanks for everyone's time.

^I'd say no more Primes, ever. It's a shame; I really liked having them, they had great artwork and nice playability, without addition of new rules that had to be implemented for other era-specific cards.
