This deck is a slightly modified version of the nightfall theme deck. This is no way, shape or form the final build, I'm using the very little cards I have. I'm really stuck thinking of what to put in to replace a bulk of this deck. I'm in the process of obtaining more staples like rare candy and collector. Here's my list:

2-2 Honchkrow UD (1 blindside)
4-3-4 Metagross UD (1 Legends Awakened)

Energy: 16

Strategy: Use Umbreon to stall your opponent until you can get metagross set up to do strength for 70 a turn. Not much of a strategy but this is all I can think of.

If the aim is to use skarmory as a starter, you should run more of him. If your aim is to start off and have a skarmory setting up a beldum on turn 1, you should probably have 4-3-4 Metagross; I also think that you should only run 2-2 Umbreon if all you use him for is to stall. I also don't think you need 4 switch.

You should also replace 4 basic metal energy with special metal - there is no reason not to; In addition, Skarmory can search for special metals using his first attack.

+2 Skarmory

-4 Basic Metal Energy
+4 Special Metal Energy



Edit: I also noticed that you run 3 UD Metagross; I also suggest you run one LA metagross.

This should make your deck a lot faster once you can get the cards

Does anyone know any good alternatives to Metagross? My idea was to pair umbreon with something that has a similar ability. Maybe Scizor Prime?

^You hit it on the money. I was going to post, but I didn't want to completely change your deck.

Use Sableye SF as your starter. This increases consistency, and you don't have to waste an energy. Drop Honchkrow and Metagross altogether and make the Pokemon line somewhat like this:

3-3 Scizor Prime
2-2 Umbreon UD
1-1 Blaziken FB LV.X
2 Uxie LA
3 Sableye SF
2 Crobat G
1 Azelf LA

You can make Scizor SP to counter DGX. For the T/S/S, you'll need Energy Gain, Cyrus's Conspiracy Poketurn, SP Radar, and maybe Power Spray. For energy, you'll need at least one fire, and 2 Basic Darks can be dropped. So energy looks like this:

6 Basic Metal
4 Special Metal
2 Special Dark
2 Basic Dark
2 Fire

Something like that. Maybe for the T/S/S:

3 Bebe's Search
3 Pokemon Collector
4 TGI Poketurn
3 Cyrus's Conspiracy
2 Energy Gain
2 SP Radar
1 Palmer's Contribution

I'm Just curious but, wouldn't be great to tech in Ampharos from platinum in there. The crobat g's can snipe any bench sitters, locking them from their powers.

That would decrease the deck's consistency, since Amphy is a stage 2. You can if you want, but you have to remove some very important things.

This likes a play on the UD Umbreon theme deck. You should get more heavy hitters, since 70 a turn with such a hefty pokemon isn't great. I suggest Scizor Prime or Blaziken FB X, like previously stated

If you're shooting for RR-on, use Jirachi RR(from your PM). It is cheap and works well in getting set-up. It's Pokepower can't be sprayed or locked, it has free retreat, and you don't have to waste an energy to use Detour(it's also only weak to fire +20).
