• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

I run a way different build for better draw I would go ninetales so maybe

-2 Shuckle
-2 Reversal
-3 SSU

-7 Cards

+ 1-1 Ninetales
+ 1 Energy Retrieval
+1 Fisherman
+3 Fire Energy
 
A 2-1-2 line of Emboar is slower. I would run a 3-2-3 line. So,

-2 Shuckle
-1 PETM

This will make deck a bit faster in terms of setting up.
 
A 2-1-2 line of Emboar is a bit too slow, so add a 1-1-1 line of Emboar, and add a 1-1 line of Ninetales (HGSS or CoL), and -1 Twins, -1 Judge, and -1 Pokemon Collector, and +1 Fisherman, so I would,

+1 Emboar (No ability)
+1 Tepig (Promo or BW16)
-2 Shuckle (too slow setting up)
+1-1 Nintales (HGSS or CoL, makes setting up quicker)
-1 Judge (Cleffa hand refreshes well enough and gives you 6 cards, instead of 4)
-1 Twins (I think it's really only useful in Lost Zone decks, plus you will be KOing things starting at the least Turn 2)
+1 Fisherman (energy recovery)
-1 Pokemon Collector

One of the better ReshiBoars i've seen yet on this forum if not the best, still needs improvement.

Away:
2x Shuckle (These are only good in Magneboar really, and you don't have shaymin to move energies around so...)
1x Tyrogue (1 Tyrogue is good enough)
1x Energy retrieval (This for Burned tower stadium)
2x Revives (Overrated card in USA along with rescue energies, they not that good when there's better options)
1x Junk arm (I'd say 2 is enough for ReshiBoar)
1x Judge (Not exactly needed on ReshiBoar)
3x SSU (You shouldn't have the need to get something back on hand with flip)

In:
2x Ninetales (For some drawing power)
2x Vulpix (read above)
1x Burned tower (Constant energy recovery with flips, tho opponent can use it too but still....)
2x Rare candies (3-4 is always must in good stage 2 decks or ppl keep calling them slow)
1x PONT (Always 3 or more of these)
1x PETM (Faster you get emboar the better.)
2x Fire energy (12 is minimum in Reshiram variants)

Why should I have 1 PETM? I believe 2 is fine. Maybe more, but no less.

Burned Tower? If I were to put in another card to get Energies, Energy Retrieval would be A LOT better. I'll keep the Energy Retrieval.

Revive, not that good? It is a great card!

What you gonna do if Vileplume comes? :p Your energy recovery kinda stops. Well you can't use stadium when vileplume on field, but if burned tower is alrdy on field you get some energies even in trainer lock. I know there's fisherman. but what if you don't draw it after you run out of energies for some reason? or it's last prize?
 
^Vileplume isn't as big in this format, since it's greatest ally was rotated. I can just take out a Retrieval for a Fisherman if you think I might run into Vileplume. Don't to let the opponent have the ability to get basic Energy out.

I bet ppl will play Beartic/Vileplume or Vanilluxe/Victini/Vileplume according to all the hypes. tho i'll try out BearPlume myself when EP is released which is definatly better than my Serperior/Wailord fun deck when there's english catcher.

Well that burned tower is matter of opinion anyways, there. Only decks that really have use for it from metagame decks are TyphloRam and ReshiBoar.

Why didn't you increase candy amount? Don't tell me you wanna have slow setup with emboar?


besides if you want so much to get your ko'ed pokemon back, why no use Rescue energy instead of them? What if they catcher your last emboar to ko it? you can't use revive on others than basics, unlike rescue energy which puts ko'ed poke back to hand. (even evo's)
 
^Any more Rare Candy is unnecessary. I am only using 2-1-2 line.

Good point, I'll find room for 1 or 2 Rescue.

I fitted in a rescue above.
