You have a lot of stuff in there that does not complement one another.

I am currently working on a toxapex centric deck, but I have no idea if it will actually work. Let me first ask what direction do you want to go? Poison with toxapex or psychic damage with mewtwo? Tapu lele will be a much better complement to mewtwo than toxapex is.

Once I know that I can try and help a bit or share my toxapex theory craft once I am done with it.

This is what I have so far, but I do not have the toxapex online yet so I haven't tested it. The theory is all about poisoning and keeping them stuck out. It uses the dugtrio to increase retreat cost, the garb to stop abilities like stand in and ultra road. The gr garb is for a late game single prize attacker. The field blower is to remove stadiums that drop retreat cost and float stones.

I am not satisfied with the supporter line up currently. Lysander 4 of is a necessity though so you can play around the powered up Pokémon and get others stuck in the active.

I understand the deck however why would run both garbodor and the dugtrio together as they kinda clash

Very true... I am not sure the dug trio is going to be very effective but it was all I could find to prevent manual retreat. Maybe just the 100 tick with the lysandre will be enough and you could add in some other poison support.

I think the deck would shine a lot more in expanded with virbank city gym and hypnotoxic laser, but I want to try and make it work in standard. Still very much a work in progress.

True I know of better support outside of standard but am still not too knowledgeable about the newer sets. I'll try the dugtrio though. The reason I have some odd cards in there is because I'm on a tight budget as of late. I have stuff like mimikyu and jirachi that supplements draw and search power and they do that well as starters. Mewtwo also works as a backup plan in case I get stuck early game and need an alternate power card.

So I do have 2 versions of toxapex that I am working on... One is a toxapex + wobbuffet... the other is toxapex + vileplume.

I did not find the dugtrio to be very helpful... the plume helps a lot to prevent switches/ropes

The wobbuffet takes a bit more micormanaging and working... you want to float the tox and the wobb so you can switch around and try to keep a mix of ability lock + poison going... I can post lists tonight if you are interested.

I just haven't found any situations where they would have the ability to retreat and it is stopped by dugtrio. Usually the opponent either has a powered Pokémon and the energy attached is already enough for +1 retreat (lapras with 2 retreat but 3 energy to attack) or I Lysander up an empty Pokémon and it can't retreat anyway.

I have not, I do not have that card, but let me know if you test it and you think it works out

Why not use team aqua's secret base instead? You can drop the 2-2 line and just pick up 4 of those...

Why not use team aqua's secret base instead? You can drop the 2-2 line and just pick up 4 of those...

I did test team aqua... with field blower and most decks running their own stadiums I just felt like it was too easily gotten rid of and ended up being a dead card or used for stadium bump rather than the + retreat.

You dont need choice band because it will not amplify the damage of super toxic poison. also instead of running 4 float stone maybe run 2 float stone and 2 poison barb, that way if they switch to get rid of the poison from toxapex, they will get poisoned again. not the 100 damage poison but still a deterent to anyone attacking your active.
