The green time-fairy's prediction rang true, as GM DracLord's ship was finally destroyed.

Ability 1: Firebreather – Whenever you successfully hit another player’s ship, that player will lose 1 random Item from their inventory.
Ability 2: Close Quarters – Instead of shooting anywhere on the grid-map, you are limited to coordinates within a 7-coordinate radius to your ship.

  • Mirage Shroud - This Item may only be activated when you get shot by another player. You move to a new and random set of coordinates, while the shot that would’ve hit you does nothing instead.

Mora used ##FIRE: H5. It hit GM DracLord.
GM DracLord was defeated by Mora.
Mora salvaged 5000 gold from GM DracLord's defeat.

So now Mora officially has the Mirage Shroud among her item inventory...This is not going to end well.

Oh you're going to be very disappointed. Remember that Spyglass thing? Yeah, well, I tried to use it on H5 to confirm my theory. Forgot about the rain. Stupid rain. So yeah.

I remember someone said something about 5 coordinate destroyers being a thing somewhere in the thread, and I noticed that GM Draclord tried to fire, but GM rejected the command based on one of his Abilities. There was also an instance in Night One where the Game Maker realized that people had fired in places where they shouldn't have. So that means he had an Ability that in some way limited his firing range. Why would the Game Maker, someone who I feel would try to make the game as fair as possible, set someone at such a disadvantage by giving them an Ability that hurt them instead of helped them? I don't think he would, which is why I believed GM Draclord to have been compensated in some way. Actually that's not quite accurate; it's more like GM Draclord had some very large advantage that the Game Maker thought it needed to be balanced. Given that ship sizes vary, I felt like there was a very good chance that he had 5 coordinates. That or he had some other broken Ability or Item. Maybe both. So I waited to see what would happen...

My only question now is if GM Draclord did have in his possession an Item to change his coordinates, why didn't he use it..?

Oh wait, I just answered my own question. Rain. Stupid Rain.

But still, should have bought a Weather Sponge or something...

I finally know what it's like to control the V-waves! (Kudos to anyone who gets that reference from a certain Pokemon game..) But indeed, it's quite the reaction-chain we've been witnessing from these events. Also, as far as the Mirage Shroud goes, I believe when Machamp exploded it left Draclord's ship near crippled and afterwards the field was affected with Heavy Rain, he wouldn't have been prompted to buy the Weather Sponge if he thought the Heavy Rain was going to end the following Day Phase...Which it didn't! :D

To start this day, I'd like to trade my Fire Barrel to Drohn providing he accepts.

While Entei attacked Celebi, Krookodile was eager for fresh prey. He looked around and made up his mind... That Snover in the distance looked like an easy target.
"Fire at A15" shouted the Krookodile.

Shortly after the cannons fired, Snover's ship was indeed struck.

Not really. I'm all alone. I've done surprisingly well for someone on their own, but I haven't done much if you think about it. Other players have teams, and they can pool together their gold to buy the more expensive Items. All I have is gold, and you guys probably have more of it combined than I do. Teams also have more Abilities combined and can work together with each other better than I can. Sure, I've delivered the final blows, but I'm not the one who found those players. Your team (specifically NameBlank) has ways to track down other players. Me? I'm just trying to survive? I take their lives so they can't take mine.

I'd have to disagree with you there, Mora. You may not be a threat perse, but you're obviously the best choice for a target; the finisher attacks you did on the ships thus far practically painted a bullseye on you. You have the most available loot and gold out of all of our individual ships that would benefit a teamed player while in comparison to other targets like Celever and I, the chances of us having valuables are not as high as the treasure that remains aboard your ship.

Not to mention the scenario is ripe for your ship to be commandeered being that the Heavy Rain prevents you from using items and I think you are without a Weather Sponge in your list of treasures. If you were to escape this Day-phase and environmental condition, chances of finding and defeating you would slim. (I.e Mirage Shroud)

That said... If I could be assured of your destruction, Moriarty Mora, I would, in the interest of my team, cheerfully accept my own. :D So, how come I have yet to shoot? Because I want to use this shot, which could be my last one depending on the decisions of you all this day-phase, wisely... It has to hit someone. That's about all I'll say. ^_^

Guys, I want money, so let me make a deal out here in the open:

Everyone who shoots Mora from now on will get an item tonight if I deal the finishing blow. I'll just give it to you. I don't care about the items, I care about the gold, so everyone helps me take the Celebi down can get some of the spoils. Just because this game isn't progressing and it's booooring.

I'll deal the 4th blow, so only two people from now can get items from the special offer. Act fast ;)

I definitely have the greatest potential for loot, however don't rule out the possibility that I've spent a fortune on nifty Items and Abilities trying to keep myself in the game just yet. And if I did still had any gold on me, I'd probably spend it immediately on Items and then use them in the rain for no effect just so that no one else could take it. Meanwhile your team (Drohn / Celever / xDoggerx / Fancy) is definitely the most coordinated right now, still having all four members. I'm glad that you mentioned you haven't used your shot yet. In fact, no one on your team has used a shot today, unlike other teams. I'd say that makes your team the more immediate threat, especially considering that anyone could take me down whenever they wanted. You said it yourself, I can't use any Items to escape. Not to mention that such Items are rare. Perhaps you didn't notice, but I wasn't able to salvage GMDracLord's Mirage Shroud. I'm an easy target at any point later in the game while the same can not be said for a team of four. It would become very difficult to deal with as players dwindle.

And the timing is ripe to pick some of you guys off. Celever was recently painted on the map, and we should all already know where you are. I'm honestly surprised no one has gone for you yet. You are after all the one who triggered rain, causing quite a few players to waste their Items. And who could forget the humidifier shenanigans.

However, if you all do decide to gun for me, a bit of advice: He who shoots first loses.

I'll give anyone who takes down Celever (or Fancy I suppose) my remaining Gold. (It's not much, but it's something, and it's definitely more than you could possibly get by sinking my ship since you only salvage half.) Why? Because I can, and because I might not be in this game for much longer. So it's not like I'm not going to use it or anything.

Taking out Mora gets you an item and taking out someone who has proven to be a great strategist and overall player. Taking me out gets you a bit of gold (she even said herself that it's not a lot in total. Split in half it'll be almost worthless depending on how much she's downplaying her total gold). You can see who the better target is here.
