But multiple plops could be heard throughout the foggy water.
The deities of the sea took pity on the captains entangled in the Fog Of War, and made it rain golden coins. Everyone has gained 5k gold and should now have a total 10k gold each.

As the day went on, the other ships in the foggy seas began to act. The muffled sounds of cannonfire from earlier in the day had everyone on edge - where could they fire upon? Would the cannonfire hit their own ships before they could strike? They can't see their targets and the targets can't see them. Celever brought up a good point in a quicktopic though: If a player moves on to a squared marked "O", what happens?
Well, since all controlled movement is delayed until the end of a phase I figure I'll wipe all misses from that quadrant of the map and show that new map (with a quarter of the map missing misses and ships being moved) during the beginning of the following Day Phase.
Ships moving in this particular game is also going to be very rare so I wouldn't worry about it much, but if a ship moves expect a quarter of the map to be wiped of misses.
But all of his enthusiasm did nothing to stop the shot from hitting the water with a quaint plop.

Igglybuff was bouncing around the deck of his ship, basking in the atmosphere of the war going on around him. Empoleon had heard the other ships' shots ring out over the fog and the following plops that accompanied them - "Pitiful," he thought. "Time to show these 'captains' who is the real Emperor of the seas... Fire at D20!"
As he stood by, waiting for the result to sound, he wondered if there'd be anything worthwhile to steal from his opponents. Empoleon was so sure of himself - and why not? He isn't considered an Emperor Pokemon for no reason, after all.
