Does anyone else have any fond memories of any pokemon games?

Red/Blue: I got them on launch day 1998, but for some reason couldn't play them until Halloween, some arrangement with my mom. So like instead of going trick or treating that year, I just played the game nonstop and couldn't put it down! I replayed Red the most for years and years after that. Way too many memories to name! I still play it to this day!

Gold/Silver: Another launch day game that I played from day one. I brought Gold with me EVERYWHERE including class field trips in the fall. And ah, long nights playing from after school to bedtime, skipping homework, getting all misty eyed over the music, strolling around national park, catching Pokemon at night, turning on the in game radio while riiding around. This was my best Pokemon experience overall, even more then Red since I only played it once but it took me like 2 years and I caught all 249 in game Pokemon! (only missing mew and celebi) Then I got even MORE gameplay when Pokemon Stadium 2 came out, since it was vastly superior to Stadium 1.

Ruby/Sapphire: I was out of school now, so I had even more time to play this game. I loved the music and the brand new areas, decorating my hideouts, finally getting to choose a female character, and playing the game for long periods of times while watching Cheers and other Nick at Nite sitcoms during the boring parts like leveling up and trying to encounter rare pokemon! And I played this during the spring so it was a change of pace from the past 2 fall playthroughs.

Silver. I still have memories of playing it when I was 4. My first Pokemon game ever, with Typhosion as a starter, I remember beating red, and having a Level 97 Gyrados, and also accidently running away from Lugia.

Yellow Version. Got me into Pokemon for the rest of my life, made Pikachu my favorite pokemon, made me who I am today

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue. X-mas 06. First Pokemon game, and I still remember when my partner, cyndaquil said the Brandon was a funny name :p

Yellow: Sure, I had Red but all of the colors and having a Pikachu following you around saying Pika! was awesome. I still like to play it from time to time along Pokemon Stadium.

Red/Blue: I'll just quote myself from the other thread.

Pokemon Red and Blue, I was soooo young then.

I once caught a ratatta with a masterball. Released ALL my pokemon but MAGIKARP. And another time I played I had run out of trainers so I couldn't make money, I released my good pokemon, and it was right before the E4. I had litterally LOST in the pokemon games.

=)

Gold: It was the first game I ever beat, thats why it's my favorite, and the fact I can replay it (In 3 days.(Typhlosion Solo run)) I could never replay Red/Blue.

RSE: I remeber how I once caught a Sharpedo and thought it was the greatest pokemon ever, and I leveled it to the 80s while completely forgetting about my starter pokemon. XD

DPP: Exact same thing as above, but with Chatot and level 76.

>_>... I wonder what will happen in B/W...

Wow, I was going to make this thread.
I remember my mother bought me Red before I could read, so when Bulbasaur for some strange reason couldn't shift awkwardly towards that rat and come back and have the rat's bar drop anymore, I would send musical notes at it, thinking it did damage too microscopic I couldn't see it.

Lol, I learned how to read three months after.

Anyone get what I'm saying?

Haha yeah, I understand what you mean Bulbabuddy, I just laughed so hard reading that ROFL.

Lol glad to have amused. I remember playing LeafGreen with my friends up in a VT Vacation house for a week in the summer. We could have been outside, but no, in the basement playing Pokemon. Good times, good times.

Pokemon emerald.Ever since I was a good 9 or 10.I played emerald endlessly that Summer of 2007.I couldn't stop I was so busy leveling one pokemon to forgetting my other pokemon!:DBut I do remember picking mudkip as my starter and I can never......forget......AAAHHHH now I'm all teary eyed.T-T

I think blue was my first game but I remember walking into a store and seeing a copy of Emerald and telling my mom I have to buy it,but my best memory is saving up about 30 dollars to buy a GBC and silver.Sometimes I cry remembering the emerald(pathetic huh?)

Sapphire: I remember getting it at Wal-Mart,waiting there for the cashier to finnaly give it to me,but I then had to wait till Christmas to play it...but then when Christmas came I played it like crazy!

my first game and fondest memory was leaf green. i got it the day it came out and played it for 7 hours straight, (i had no life back then)

i loved my blastoise so much that i forgot about my other pokemon and started training them after my blastoise was at level 94

i thought that dragonite was like the best pokemon ever too!

in the end, i released all my other pokemon until i had only left a blastoise and a dragonite! :p

LoL thats funny.

I don't remember very much but I know my first game was Yellow I remember one time being sad because I released my Ivysaur. (I couldn't read very well and I wasn't sure if you were supposed Withdraw or Release when you wanted to take your pokemon out of the PC).

I really started to like pokemon when I got Crystal. I don't remember what I did much but I probably beat the game around five times I bet I did some pretty wacky things through my many play throughs. I remember beating the game with just Typhlosion and after I beat Red he was on level 98 or 99 I thought that was so awesome but now I have noticed that it probably isn't that special beating the old pokemon games with only one pokemon.

I was playing Red and when that kid walked up to me and said shorts are comfy and easy to wear, I turned off the game and bought a pair of comfy easy to wear shorts.
I restarted playing LG recently, for Pal Park in SS. And and I knew my way, what Pokemon to catch, where, and why, all off by heart. I must have put over 500 hours into that game through restarting and restarting over and over again.

LMAO!! Omf, that is priceless.

I remember playing my Blue on my GameCube (GBA Player), and trying to level up my Bulbasaur so it could learn Razor Leaf, because I thought that it was the move that cut down small trees.

Yellow: Ah...my very first pokemon game. I couldn't even beat Brock before I lost it. (What???I was only 8 ya know!!!)

Emerald: I almost won the game...and I finally found out what a PC was and how to use it. I never actually won it though...

Diamond: I havn't bothered to beat Maylene before starting another new game until now. (Why, you may ask? Because I actually checked out what the Global Terminal was...:p )
