1. its a joke, WPM never did an april fools joke and safari got the spotlight, he wanted to fool us too ;D

2. it is real BUT PB is not going under. its just going to get diff admin while WPM leaves...sad

Did WPM directly say that he didn't want a new Admin. to take
over his position to run PokeBeach once he leaves the site for college?

I don't remember when he said that If he quits being Admin. of
PokeBeach he will take the site down without a new Admin.

Sometimes you have to make sacrifices in order to achieve your goals in life. This is probably one of them, it's not like WPM doesn't want us around anymore you have to understand that this was a difficult decision for him to make. Someone else will probably make a new Pokemon fansite to replace Beach, maybe Marriland possibly.

I guess we'll just have to learn to deal with it, it's sad to see this site go just like with PlayTCG from JDragon. One thing that disappoints me the most is that I won't be able to post on Pokemon TCG forums other than Pojo and Serebii. Like I said I'm banned on http://google.com/ and PokeGym (so to speak) so this isn't going to be easy for me.

Why would WPM be adding new features and modding people if he is just going to close down the forums?

So that he can trust a new fleet without him if he decides to keep the forums up but hand over admin position to someone else.

He knows that there are thousands of active members that he will upset if this closes. Here are the likeliest scenarios:
-It's all a joke
-The forums close and are replaced with another one
-The forums are taken over by a current mod/s-mod
-The forums close altogether
-The found close but return

The first and third are the only ones that really make sense. For all we know there could already be another Admin on here. On MyBB, you can have anyone be an admin, and have it show them as a regular member.

Anyway, back on topic.
It would make sense, but they would surely tell us. If the mods really don't know what's going on (and I believe them - you'd think that someone would have let it slip by now), then they fear the closure just as much as us. If WPM has been purposely ignoring emails/PMs/profile comments, then surely it's a joke.
