Forum being thrown away? Wha?

The funny thing is, the moderators are viewing this thread, but not posting in it... Ehh, there probably ticked off because they won't be mods anymore LOL

Guys. Lets go by experience. Last time I thought it was a joke and I was modded. So while we all think this will be a joke, we log onto our computers and realize Pokebeach was thrown away. How would you feel about that?
 
WPM Loves this site. It won't close before all of these are done.

  • He decides what to do with it - He won't close it unless it's his only option.
    • If money is an issue, he will ask the members for donations before it has to be closed.
    • If money is not an issue, he will chose one of the Super Mods to run it.
  • If neither of the above are possible, he will alert the community so that we have time to save anything that we need to save, and get any emails / facebooks / twitters / AIM's / skypes, etc. that we need.
  • He will then painfully close the forums, and let them die.
 
Why do all good things that happen within these forums (upgrades, new mods) have to be preceded by terrible threads like this?

That is what makes sense to you, but this is WPM's creation and none of us knows what he is feeling. Or what is happening in his life. How many staff members have you seen on here fine one day and gone the next, never to be seen again. It is in his hands.

Wpm loves his site very much - but this is his life we're talking about. Pokemon is great, but wouldnt you all do the same for your future and your family?

Can we make PokéBeach "The Site" to be at?
 
Is the site really closing?!? :( I love the site, and I'd hate to see it close. Please either leave this site in the hands of a capable person, if you can't run it WPM! I'd miss this site...

I've only joined the forums in December but it has become onr of my favorite sites ever. I came here to learn more about competitive battling and to share my own knowledge of the Pokemon games. Thanks to this site, I got back into the TCG. During my time here, I've met many great people who share my love of Pokemon. So for that, I thank all of you, especially you WPM. Without him, none of this would have been possible.

If this site closes, PokeBeach's community would have to move on. It would be saddening yes, but we would all know deep down that it was a difficult choice for WPM. We would know that he made the best decision he could.

So yeah, everyone. I would really miss you all, and I know we would all miss each other. If you are thinking about closing the site WPM, please don't. We can continue our legacy with a new temporary admin who can handle his site while you handle your own life. We can do it.

End.
 
I mean, I love Pokemon. And it's been a part of my life since kindergarten. But it's whatever WPM wants to do. And as a mod, I gotta support the man. Serebii and Smogon are always open. :/
