You are all idiots if you overreact over stuff like this. I'm personally not a fan of the ones who think every little tweak they do to the forum deserves its own viral teaser campaign, but you guys shouldn't overreact. The worst thing that can happen with people is they have unrealistic expectations. And then both sides start pointing fingers at each other over whose fault it was that stuff went out of control eventually.

If you really think this is going to happen, then you guys really have to look at what WPM has done before.

"Made people like you wonder what he's about to do next" would be a suitable summary I think... don't lose sleep over anything relating to the forum ok? If something is going to happen, it'll happen before you know it. Anything that seems like foreshadowing of things to come is usually people messing with their privileges that allow them to edit stuff in the forum HTML/CSS that's all, really :)

Dude, we have like 20 'phases'. Any time we feel like it, we pick one and publicise it to screw with the public. :(

I never even knew what moltres was because it was before my time, it just became some sort of weird cult buzzword around these parts.
 
He never said he was shutting down PokeBeach. Just the forums.

I'm proud to have served this site, even if it was for a short time.
 
Yeah dragonexpert told me on the chat earlier today. It's more profitable to keep the pokebeach main page from a business standpoint. The forums really do take a lot of work and they do not bring in much money.
 
Much money? I thought that they were completely free.
They don't use ads or membership costs, so how could PB even make profit? I thought that this was just a voluntary forum for people to discuss stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Yeah, but why a joke right now? Didn't he say that he is considering shutting it down? I'm sure he did.

But, I'm still not so sure, a part of me says that this is all just a lousy joke.

If this is a joke, you got us, WPM. If not, let's just chuck in a Rickroll and carry on as normal anyway.
