Found Some Great Cards for Cheap Today

I can't believe that there are people who think that I'm making this all up. I created this thread because I was excited to find these cards for these ridiculously cheap prices, not because I wanted to "look cool" or pull everyone's leg...what could I possibly gain for making all of this up?

The store I bought these cards from is a really small store that sells mostly sports memorabilia and collectibles with some TCG/CCG stuff as well. I'm under the impression that he doesn't know the current metagame and is selling cards based on what he thinks is "popular." For example, he was selling Charizard from Secret Wonders for $10...possibly because he thought Charizard was still popular (like it was when the TCG first started). Also, all of his Lv. X cards were around $3 (none higher than $5) and the rares (regardless whether they were holo, shiny, old, new, etc.) were all between $0.50 and $1.50. After seeing this I thought perhaps he had no idea about the metagame and just sold cards based on his own prices.

Or he just doesn't play Pokemon?

^Why would you need to play Pokemon to know the prices of cards? Anyone can simply go to eBay and type in what they need to look up.

Or TrollAndToad, really.
But seriously, a Luxray GLX for $3 is practically impossible, even if someone knows nothing about Pokemon. I mean, it is a LV.X rare, so it's got to be worth at least $10, right?

I think I kinda wanna cry myself to sleep now. That price is outstanding. Sell that bad boy for seventy and get twenty-three times of what you got it for. :]

^A Heatran Lv. X is only $5-$6. But that's also because no one uses it and it also was a tin Promo...
I was talking from the viewpoint of somebody who does not know anything about Pokemon, to express my point that 'this guy knows nothing about Pokemon' is not the most valid reason.

I can vouch for pokedan that the level x's were truly $3 (with tax) since I was there with him and couldn't believe and we were rushing like crazy to make sure those were the right prices and also checked the cards several times to make sure they were not fake. Other level x's like arceus, salamance, empoleon were also the same price. The only expensive level x was Charizard G Lv.X for 15bucks.

Now the only thing I can say to this is "lolololololol WOW". I guess they really do know nothing about Pokemon.
I agree with EspeonROX's suggestion. Sell it for profit.

Well, supposing your both telling the truth, then congrats man. GREAT find. Very Jelous...

Like many of us have said already, if thats all a hoax, then..... *Sad face*
