Found some old cards..worth anything?

Heyyy,
I used to collect lots of pokemon cards when i was a kid, but I lost my collection, and I just recently found my collection of packs that i saved when i was a kid (Base set all the way to some EX sets..and even some Diamond and pearl sets)...and as well, oddly at the same time, my cousin had 30-60 Black and White set packs (next destines- Dragons exalted), and he gave me those as well..and I know it would of been worth keeping the packs sealed..but I couldnt help my self haha

Are these worth anything still? (The old one's)..
Im thinking about starting to collect again aswell..And I dont know where would be a great place to start~

There is another binder with cards that have holo's on the outside of the card instead of the picture..not sure if those are worth anything either..some of them are old cards that are like that..not sure if they are fake or not..but they came from "legendary collection" packs

Wow, those are some great cards! You have a good amount of Ultra Rares, new and old, and there is some serious value in your cards


With that kind of collection, you should seriously consider getting back into collecting

Oh really? Thats great to hear! And the good thing is..most..if not all of them all..are fresh out of packs

What would be some sets that wont break my budget to start on? I remember I used to really love and collect the neo set..but that binder was lost in my childhood somewhere..and I looked on ebay and saw the price on neo destiny boxes and that made my jaw drop haha..

and yeah seems you got 2 choices Keep and buy more or sell them.

If i wasnt dirt poor making living on very small paycheck from DQ now and unemployment id seriously try and buy the whole lot.

Good news is there's alot of big $ collectors / players here who will glady buy them

Yeah...After I opened the first few packs..I cant control myself and have the hardest time not opening these LOL..
i'll see what else I can find and i guess ill decide if I open them or not..

Are the base set packs still worth anything?

Those second set of cards, with the holo on the outside, are called Reverse Holo cards
You could probably make max $100 of that second set of pictures.

As for all the packs, you have quite the pile!

The Diamond and Pearl packs, as well as the Platinum, and Black and White packs tend to all be under $3 - $3.50 in value.
However, the ex series packs have more value. Crystal Guardians packs, low end, are worth $4. Power Keepers packs are the same, $4. Hidden Legends boosters are worth $5-$6.

As for the Base Set packs, those are Blister packs. Normal Base Set packs run average of $10. Blister packs, however, are worth about $15-$20.
BUT, you, my friend, have something special! You have Shadowless Base Set Blister packs!!! Those are worth about $40 each!

I have another binder with just rares (non holo) but I dont think those will be worth to much~
otherwise..i have tons of commons/uncommons/trainers..and this huge charizard that came out of a booster box :O
Everything else is still in the garage somewhere -_-

Non-holo rares usually go for $0.50 to $1 a piece, but there are some that go for more (these are usually the playable cards).
There are also some valuable trainers. Some of the newer trainers are really good for playing, so they have high values.

Can you post a picture of the Charizard? There are a few Jumbo Charizards, and there values are actually pretty substantial.

Do not open those shadowless base set packs. There isnt a single card in the set right now that is worth more than the pack itself. Charizard sadly sells around 30 for shadowless now. Pm me though if your looking to trade some of your newer cards for older ones though thats a sweet collection

Well, you have an SR Meowth and SR Charmeleon, which are both around $4, an Ancient mew worth $IDK, and a Charizard (Shadowless?)
