Free Booster Packs at Gamestop

I didn't know if anyone knew but Gamestop has eased into selling Pokemon TCG cards at their stores. My local store is selling XY Base - XY Phantom Forces and the Kanto power tins. If you download the gamestop app you can get in store offers for certain stuff. I had 2 offers for a free booster pack and was able to redeem both at the same time. Also if you are a pro rewards member and have a bunch of points you can now redeem them for a printable coupons to get packs at the stores. You only need 4,000 points per coupon. Hope this helps someone out.

Wow this is interesting. I wonder when they started doing this? Normally they don't sell TCG cards. Must be a limited promotion or something. That is a first for GAME STOP.:)

They started with XY and have been going strong with every newer set ever since. My Gamestop personally stocks 3-4 boxes at a time.

What are their prices compared to a regular retail store? Are they higher or lower than the average retail store?:)

I asked the guy and he said the cards are here to say. I guess Nintendo asked them to start selling them. Booster packs are 3.99 each, while theme decks are 12.99 and tins are 17.99. They also have more of the special Gengar spirit link packs still at my local shop.

Gamestop didn't have theme decks here, though they had everything else...found that out when I went to see if they were doing a midnight release.

I got free packs by redeeming my PowerUp rewards points and I had 2 offers on the new official Gamestop app.

Ok booster packs are about the right price and theme decks are about a dollar to high. Most sell for $11.99 and tins are a bit high. Usually sell for $13.99-$14.99. Get your packs there but buy decks and tins elsewhere unless that is your only store that sells cards.:)

I don't know where you shop for cards but what Gamestop sells them for is right on par with Walmart and Target sells them for.

I am talking about the display boxes. I don't know where to buy those except online but the tins seem to be a bit high. My Fred Meyer store sells tins for $12.99 and packs are $4.99 for packs but no display boxes though.:)

I heard that they sold Booster Packs, I'm pretty sure its cheaper than Walmart, but damn, I wish I knew about that offer stuff for free booster packs :D
