• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

It's been a while since I was last here but I've just created a new deck called full metal madness it's steel dark and it performs well online but I want your opinion on it just to see if its any good at all.

Here's the list:

I should also mention that I've taken out multiple fire decks which I have a disadvantage against 1 of them being Charizard/Pyroar and they all work well and could be fully functioning

I think the big issue with that deck is that the lines of Pokemon are too inconsistent. It seems like you're trying to do a mix of Yveltal, M. Metagross, and Bronzong...
Here's what I recommend you use...

1x Metagross-Ex
1x M. Metagross-EX
3x Yveltal-EX
2x Yveltal
4x Bronzor
4x Bronzong
1x Aegislash-EX

Then, for getting around Safeguard and Pyroar, you could use any of the following:

Yanmega PHF
Raichu XY
Beartic FUF

and soon coming out in Primal Clash...

Diggersby
Ancient Excadrill
Aegislash (Might take up a lot of room, though.)

Thank you for the help but for the time being I'm going to have to stick to my deck list seeing as I don't have 4 bronzongs 2 yveltals or 3 yveltal exs but I will try to use the raichu because it has a colourless cost and works well with the energy lines of the deck because i don't want to go on a mad dash trying to find everything I need

And the Aegislash line already takes up 4 spaces because of its alternate form and they work well together along with the other Aegislash in the deck because they allow an insta switch

yeah yeah like any of that worked
 
It may not have worked because you have 1 of to many pokemon. You should add in another Yveltal EX and another Dialga EX I would drop the 2 shauna for those cards. You also have no pokemon searching cards. You should add in 3 ultra balls and take out the float stone and pokemon center lady as well as the xerosic for the ultra balls. This would just help your deck be more consistant.

Okay I was told by an actual judge at the event to not run 3 ultra balls 2 shauna to improve consistency by adding more draw supporters which I did I only have 2 enhanced hammers and 1 megaphone so Xerosic works when I'm out of those I'm only running 15 pokemon and almost all of them are basics so pokemon fan club works better than ultra ball anyway and nobody plays pyroar so don't give me any of that I need beartic in my deck rubbish cos I was told that it would work until primal clash when I'm going to add ancient excadrill into the mix
 
And how did you do at the tournamnet, how often did you have the pokemon you need, how often did you actually use xerosic. I said nothing about beartic, I highly dought a judge told you to take out the ultra ball to make the deck more consistant.
 
No this is the improved version and when I test it I get all the pokemon I need when I need them and like I said colress
shauna pokemon fan club sycamore and N all the searching I need to bring out my evos I only have 4 for gods sake so ultra ball worthless

Well here's the thing like I said I've only just updated it because I only want to have 15 pokemon and 13 energy and a lot of supporters and some items and 3 stadiums so out of the 15 9 are basics so they don't need ultra ball I can drag 2 out without a discard with pokemon fan club or just shuffle or discard untill I get the cards with sycamore N shauna and colress and shuffle the rest in with trump card it works and xerosic can be used to discard muscle band if my Darkrai gets knocked out
 
If you dont want peoples opinnions then dont post. I honestly dont care how slow your deck would be. The changes i suggested would only have made your deck more consistant and more competitve.

Well I wanted improvements when it needed improvements that's why I posted it but now I've had some help but the only cards I'm ever thinking of adding instead of Shauna I'm going to add when it's released Ancient Excadrill seeing as I can attack twice in the same turn so its worth running it might be enough but dealing 70-120 damage per turn (I don't rember how much it deals with a muscle band or in general so don't kill me if I got it wrong) and it's going greatly improve the deck

And I also tested the deck with ultra balls but it don't work as well
 
I would still recomend adding in another Yveltal EX and dialga EX because those two cards are likley your main attackers you wont more than 1 of your main attacker in the case they get prized. The ultra balls would also help you discard metal energy which you could then use Bronzong to get back onto your pokemon.

Okay prepare for itemised rejections A. Mega metagross, metagross ex and yveltal are my main attackers
B. The bronzongs are as a precaution in case I get crushing hammered
And C. The yveltal ex and Dialga ex are mainly just for back up
 
Then make more room for metagross EX and M metagross EX. If the Bronzongs are just a precaution then you dont need a 4-4 line of them.

Or 3-3 line even for just in case
 
I did try a 1-1 line but if metal energy goes into the discard pile and I have 1 on the bench only 1 gets attached so the 3-3 line is okay the judge said that the pokemon I have work well also do you have any idea how hard it is to get metagross and mega metagross the box alone cost me £35 so I don't even want to know how much the cards cost on there own
 
You can get another Metagross EX and M metagross EX for about $19 american. The Judge could have meant that all the pokemon are standard legal and all could be played in the deck.
 
It isn't worth running Yveltal and Yveltal EX and Dark energy and Darkrai EX and Shadow Circle just for a non main attacker. Bronzong shouldn't be a "precaution" because it is a very important part in metal decks' energy acceleration and there should be cards to help get metal in the discard.

With this in mind, consider these suggestions:

-2 Yveltal
-1 Darkrai EX
-1 Shadow Circle
-4 Dark Energy
-1 Shauna
-1 Colress

+1 N
+1 Sycamore
+2 Metal Energy
