Furious Fighting Deck (Lucario EX / Landorus EX / Garbodor)

This seems rather standard for a Landy and friends deck. I am curious to for your match ups. Is Mewtwo EX for the mirror matches, and how do you plan on facing the Toad? Are you hoping to out speed it? I think this is really important for making a deck like this.

Yes, Mewtwo is for Mirror Matches. (And will also be for Gengar EX matches when it comes out)

The "Toad"? Seismitoad? Politoed/Poliwrath?

EDIT: Updated OP is Updated.

Eron, FYI, Gengar-EX is weak to Dark...

Guess I'll have to wait for a tech until November. :l

Great question and a particular match-up I playtest against a lot. For me, my strategy is to inflict damage onto the 'Toad first with my Mewtwo EX (I do run 2 in my deck). In doing so, I can have a 2HKO without potentially losing my Mewtwo EX via a revenge KO.

Pokemon: 12

  • 3 Lucario EX (Main Attacker)
2 Landorus EX -BCR (Main Attacker)
1 Mewtwo EX -LTR (Situational, mostly for Deoxys EX or another Mewtwo)
    2 Trubbish (Tool Drop)
    2 Garbodor (Garbotoxin)
1 Dedenne (Yveltal, Lugia, anything weak to it)
    1 Hawlucha FRF
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 37

  • 4 Professor Juniper
    2 Korrina
    2 Skyla
    3 N
    2 Colress
    2 Lysandre
    4 Virbank City Gym
    4 Muscle Band
    1 Focus Sash
    2 Float Stone
    1 Scramble Switch ACE SPEC
    4 Ultra Ball
    1 Energy Retrieval
    4 Hypnotoxic Laser
    1 Max Potion
Energy: 11

  • 4 Special Strong Energy
    7 Fighting Energy
I've found Lucario EX to be completely underwhelming and now run only 1 copy in my deck.

Also, you might find that Sparkling Robe to be a bit better than Focus Sash. Your opponent could still remove remove the Tool (i.e., FS) before KOing your Poké or use a Laser to KO your Poké via the poison.

Well, some friends did this deck and ran it, tried it, used it in tournaments and never won one and they started to use Seismitoad EX/ Yveltal EX. But I'm leaving the deck here just in case someone wants to do it.
