operation:
WHO WILL CHAMPION?​


ROUNDS:​
Rounds will come in three parts, like they did in my pile of fail spriting contest. whoever's collective score is the lowest from the three mini rounds will be eliminated. Every so often there will be a "boss round", those will mainly be difficult, obscure challenges that might be a little specific or frustrating. boss rounds will have this pwnsomeness at the start:

JUDGES

TWO JUDGES! keep it fair but speedy.

Sprites will be judged by points on:​
: cleanliness (lines and color are neat, sprite isn't sloppy) [worth: 30 pts.]
: new (not just another palkia/dialga sprite!) [worth: 20 pts.]
: favoritism of judges (JUST KIDDING!) [worth: 0 pts.]
: change (don't just put some fire on a non-colored bulbasaur and call it a sprite) [worth: 20 pts.]
: creativity (if you can make a yellow sprite go well with a mowtom, points.) [worth: 10 pts.]
: thought out (don't just splice two random pokemon, maybe make them in the same pose and maybe fix the shading if its off!) [worth: 20 pts.]

PENALTIES​

: Timeliness. you will get 5 points reducted for every day your sprite is late. (due dates will be posted) After three days you're eliminated and the next round starts.
: sportsmanship. No putting down others sprites, griping about unfair judging or rounds, or getting in to fights with other contestants. minus 30 points for whining or fighting when you're not already eliminated. you can however, speak up if you feel something is unfair, just do it politely in a PM to me.


ROUND 1-2
create a fusion of all the pokemon from the same evolutionary/form family.
that means stuff like metagross/metang/beldum, or stuff like landmin/skymin.

I thought tis was gonna be inactive and I wouldn't et the second judge but I get an active judge and an immediate 2 contestants (VY signed up over the phone)

oh man, I just noticd the sprites are only being judged on two things, gonna go fix that...

fixed. 6-d, you can go ahead and judge PJ's sprite if you wish. we might as well do them one at a time.

you can join. You're supposed to use the sprites from the video games though, not pictures. You might wanna check out the following things:

here's how to do it in paint. I personally use a pixel art program called pixen, I recommend it if you don't have paint or photoshop, heres the link to that:

lol i didnt really have a process to it TBH i just thought it would look cool. i remembered I saw a fuson on a sprite website that made kind of this laid back island version of a lapras. it was like lapras+eggexcutor+meganium and some stuff. and one time I did a fusion of a red/blue/yellow sprite of venesaur and R/B/Y lapras which was the same concept as this fusion.

Bronzor, Glalie, Porygon, Steelix, and Metang

Glalie - Head
Bronzor - Balls
Steelix - Tail
Metang - Arms (Recolor 1)
Porygon - Recolor 2

Meh, I'mma wait to send results, comparisons to other sprites are helpful when judging. Plus, it will clog up your inbox.

I pick the Indeterminate group. My sprite uses Gallade, Spiritomb, Rotom (normal), Magcargo, and Mismagius. You can call it Static Lord.

Always save as png. Always. I might re-do it as a png, because having a jpg will reall hurt.
