Future Eeeveelutions

NOTE: This applies for any time in the future, not just ORAS, so i believe this goes in the general pokemon discussion and not the ORAS section.

What New Eeveelutions are you hoping for in the future? i want a Ghost type one that you could perhaps obtain by making an eevee faint in a lavender tower-like place. as for it's name, perhaps Ghouleon? (Ghoul + Eon)

A rock-type would also be nice, obtaining it by levelling eevee up by a special stone (like leafeon and glaceon) it could be called Bouldeon (Boulder + Eon) and i want a Flying type. it could be cloud based, gotten by levelling an eevee up near a special cloud, or maybe even a shiny stone. Name could be nimbeon (Nimbus + Eon.) A normal one, something just to boost eevee's stats. it could however have an ability like protean, allowing it to become any type. this makes sense as eevee adapts to it's environment and a purely evolved one could perhaps adapt type then change back to normal type. it could be called Pureon (Pure + Eon.)

Your thoughts?

I - (good-mood on-topic response) Flying.

An eeveelution that was heavily wind-based (Tornadus-level) seemed like the only fitting eeveelution left to do, at least to me.

Because eeveelutions are about an innocent generic pet-like cute thing gaining colorful elemental powers. With it just becoming venomous, or turning into a ghost, employing martial arts, or suddenly be made of mineral etc, is something that would be better for another kind of pokemon.

II - Eevee has played its role, it's getting boring, Sylveon was the icing on the cake, a nice finish.

They might be cute, but it's always the same cat-thing with an element/color slapped on it. (which for most of the types left isn't as obvious/simple to do as the ones already done anyway)

The least thing I want to see is them doing every damn type simply for the sake of it, and people who do piss me off with it. You are essentially asking gamefreak to be lazy.

III - I'm hoping for a new "Eevee"-pokemon altogether.

Let me give some examples of what I mean with that.

#1: A catterpillar that changes into different coloured similar cocoons, then emerge as moths gaining different types - Bug
A-Bug/Electric
B-Bug/Fire
C-Bug/Ice

#2: the fighter - Fighting
mixing martial arts with exotic elements
A-Fighting/Electric - THUNDERPUNCH
B-Fighting/Fire - FIRE PUNCH
C-Fighting/Ice - ICE PUNCH
or combining martial arts with another skill
A-Fighting/Poison
B-Fighting/Psychic
C-Fighting/Dark
D-Fighting/Flying

#3: a typical psychic, who learns to control different classical elements (the concept of pyrokinesis expanded to include all 4 greek elements) - Psychic
A-Psychic/Water (water)
B-Psychic/Ground (earth)
C-Psychic/Fire (fire)
D-Psychic/Flying (wind)

#4: a formless creature looking like plankton or a cell (ala Solosis/Ditto) - Normal
mimicing different life-forms upon evolution, with a still microbiological look (like Rotom-formes that remain rotom-looking no matter what)
A-Grass (plant-like)
B-Bug (insectoid)
C-Water (aquatic)
D-Ghost (gaseous)
E-Rock (mineral)
...

#5: techniques, humanoid pokemon - Normal
evolving and different skills (fan-favourite type trio people have been demanding for ages)
A-Fighting
B-Psychic
C-Dark
next gen gaining three more
D-Ground
E-Flying
F-Poison

and my favourite
#6: a typical dino/monster pokemon (Nidoran/Aron/Bagon design hybrid) - Dragon
gaining different kinds of armors while being a badass Dragon with exotic types
A-Dragon/Steel (quadruped, full metallic armor)
B-Dragon/Rock (semi-quadruped and tough with rock hard armor)
C-Dragon/Ice (bipedal and fast)
D-Dragon/Poison (spiky armor)

or it could be a fossil instead of a Dragon-type (since fossils could use something other than another pair of 2-stage every now and then). It'd start off as pure Rock with a typical dinosaur look - Rock
A-Rock/Steel
B-Rock/Poison
C-Rock/Dark
D-Rock/Fire
etc.

I find it sad that pretty much every fakemon artists has fake eeveelutions in their gallery, and almost no one has an original branching fakemon.

An example I found and liked was this one: http://hourglasshero.deviantart.com/art/051-Dojoku-294138982

I love the new eevee idea. You could perhaps have a dragon akin to dratini/bagon/axew, and they would branch out to another three. May a psychic, a dark, and a fighting? They all counter each other, like fire/water/grass. Only problem with that type triangle is that dark is actually IMMUNE to psychic, so it may be the best of the three.

I'd like to see a dragon Eevee. I mean, it make sense when you consider the whole mess of Eevee's, where most of them play off each other.

1st Gen:Jolteon-Vaporeon-Flareon: Granted, Jolteon is the top here as none of them is strong against Jolteon, though ftw Flareon can learn Dig. Jolteon takes out Vaporeon and Vaporeon takes out Flareon.

2nd Gen:Umbreon-Espeon: More accurate than other generations for my point, as Dark is strong against and immune to Psychic.

4th Gen:Glaceon-Leafeon: No immunites here but Glaceon is strong against Leafeon.

6th Gen: Poor alone Sylveon. If a dragon one existed we'd be looking at the 2nd gen scenario. Fairy is strong against and immune to Dragon.

This should be Drakeon, and rather than make this evolution move or stone dependant take a little used route and have it done when another Pokemon is present (like Shedinja 'popping' up when Nincada evolves to Ninjask). Maybe when a dragon type Pokemon evolves with that Eevee in your party, that Pokemon will become Drakeon. It'd take a while as Gible evolving to Gabite at level 24 is the lowest evolution time for a dragon Pokemon.

I have always loved the eeveelutions. There has never been a time when I liked any pokemon more than one of them. That said, I feel as though they have used up the eeveelutions and that they should focus on other eevee-like lines. Still, I would love megas for all of them...please...

I'd definitely love a full set of Eeveelutions for every type, including a Mega Eevee that stays Normal type and has either Color Change or Protean (and if the latter, wider TM access).
