{W} Magikarp EX @ 200HP

{C} Splash
This attack does nothing.

{W} Flail 10x
Does 10 damage for each damage counter on Magikarp EX.

Resistance: {M}

I would really love to see both a Magikarp EX and a Pikachu EX. They wouldn't need to be playable, maybe just joke-ish sort of promos (like how Magikarp got a Shining). They fit the basic pokémon requirement, if not the legendary one (though both pokémon are pretty "legendary" in their own way; Pikachu being the mascot for the whole series, and Magikarp for being the most worthless :D).

As far as serious suggestions go, Rayquaza EX and Suicine EX will likely be in Dragon Blade/Blast; probably the remaining Kami Trio members, too. I'm sure we'll be seeing the Musketeers in EX form, though maybe not as soon as the next Japanese set. Maybe a Cresselia EX too, since we've already seen Darkrai EX? I have to lean towards Pokémon rounding out their match sets before we start seeing new legendary lines. Latios and Latias are definitely contenders for Dragon Blast/Blade, though, since they're dragon type legendaries. I hope we'll be seeing Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit in EX form, too; perhaps the set after the re-release of R/S?

I want my Milotic EX (as well as Scizor EX)

Milotic-Stage 1-Evolves from Feebas-180 HP

Ability: Marvel Scale: If this pokemon is affected by a special condition, reduce the damage this pokemon takes by 30.

{w}{w} Wild Splash-80:Heal from this pokemon the amount of damage dealt to the defending pokemon. If this pokemon is affected by a special condition, this attack does another 40 Damage to the defending pokemon.

Weakness:Grass x2
Resistance: Fire -20
Retreat Cost: {c}{c}{c}

^This is how you make a $70-80 card that breaks the format.

I think that Suicune EX will be champ because its usually better than Entei and raikou.
Here's my ideal idea:
Suicune EX {W} HP 180
Basic Pokémon
{W} {W} {C} Sheer Cold 90 The defending Pokémon cant attack during ur opponents next turn.
{W} {W} {C} {C} Breaking Wave 120 Does 10 damage to each Benched Pokémon.
Weakness {G} x2 Resistance {R} -20 Retreat 0 or 1

You seem to be failing to realize that there are going to be more sets, CSJ. Plenty of opportunities to release a Suicune EX.

it's too bad there will most likely only be Legendary Pokémon getting the EX status. If there's any one I'd appreciate seeing though, it's Latias EX. it's my favorite Legendary Pokémon, and someone at Nintendo seems to like Latias and Latios as well, as the two of them have been printed a disproportionately large amount of times, often as promos. In addition, with the new Dragon-type cards, it's a guarantee that there will be Dragon-type Pokémon EX in the future. Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, and Zekrom are always represented by their alternative types in the card game, which leaves Rayquaza, Latias, and Latios.

And, of course, with each new Legendary Pokémon being revealed, there's going to be a set in the card game centered around it (like we had with the Deoxys and Arceus sets in the past, for instance). When Keldeo got revealed, there's going to be a Keldeo EX. When Meloetta gets revealed, there will be a Meloetta EX (I actually predict two, one for each form, and they'll be interchangeable). And when Genesect gets revealed, there will be a Genesect EX--this one will be one to watch out for, because I'm not sure if they're going to incorporate the cassette tapes into the TCG. I think they will, as Pokémon Tools that can only work on Genesect or Genesect EX and provide powerful attacks.

The only one left out is Victini. Nintendo is not one to leave one Pokémon in the dust just because of timing, so if there will be a Keldeo EX, a Meloetta EX, and a Genesect EX, there will most certainly be a Victini EX somewhere within that time frame.

Kingdra EX
Scizor EX
Gengar EX
Luxray EX

That's more me dreaming, as I would be soooooo happy if the above came true!
I would think they would print a Mew EX ? and a Charizard EX ? would be nice to see some stage 2 EX's
I am thinking they need to print something soon to help speed on Stage 2's, especially with all the "buffs" we have for basics now :O

Evolite, Prism energy, 150+HP

Haven't there already been Kingdra EX, Scizor EX, Gengar EX, Mew EX, and Charizard EX?

Claydol EX
stage 1- evolves from baltoy

[F] 140HP

Ability: Cosmic Power

(same as it ever was)

(what ever claydol had as an attack)

weakness: [W]
Resist [L]
Retreat: [C][C][C]

[EX rule]

in a format with pokemon catcher, would this still be useful?

Do you think they would reprint some of the other good cards from past sets as EX cards? Sableye EX with an updated stormfront text. Dragon-type Garchomp EX with it's SP ability?

I did create a Ho-Oh and lugia EX while back, as well as groundon EX and Mew EX if anyone is interested.

Yeah we need more EX's that are Stage 1's and Stage 2's, this format has been catering to Basics way too much and it's getting annoying. Fix that and maybe we could see some balance in the TCG again like we did in DP-On before Platinum was released.

We're talking about EXs man. Regular Magikarp would do 10x, the EX shuould do 20x.

I don't think Pokémon would do something like that, they only give special treatment to SYMBOLIC Pokémon. I.E.: Pikachu

Meloetta EX [Aria Forme] {P} HP160
ABILITY: Song and Dance
Once during ur turn, before ur attack, u may search ur deck for a Meloetta EX [Pirouette Forme] and shuffle this Pokémon back into ur deck, all energy, damage and effects are now on the new card.
{P} {P} Confusion Song 70
The Defending Pokémon is now confused.
{P} {P} {P} Grand Finale 90-
You may choose the type that Meloetta EX acts as for this attack, if u do, this attack does 30 less damage.
Pirouette Forme later.

That last attack would be broken. It'd be 160 damage for 3 Energy with no drawbacks for any Pokémon with a weakness. Reshiram EX doesn't get a break like that.

^ I think he's talking about Meloetta's aria/piro forms. Which means psychic for aria and fighting for piro.

^That's not quite how the wording sounds. It would seem that it's any type of card, not just between psychic/fighting (besides, there's nothing else on the card to hint at that either).

It would be terribly broken, though– that and Electrode for a T2 160? If it had a Psychic Weakness, it wouldn't be quite so bad, but it would still make for the BDIF.

Thundrus EX 170 HP {L}

Ability: Thunder Wave:
Once during your turn, as long as Thundurus is your active pokemon, flip a coin, if heads, the defending pokemon is paralyzed, if tails, the defending pokemon can't retreat on the opponent's next turn.

{L}{L}{C} Norris Bolt: 90
If the defending pokemon is paralyzed, this attack does 140 damage instead.

W: {F}
R:--
RC: {C} x2

Tornadus already has an EX, so Thundurus should get one too.
May be a little overpowered.

Keldeo EX [W] 170 HP

ABILITY- Bonus Lot
Once during your opponent's turn, when this Pokemon is knocked out by an attack, you may flip a coin. If heads your opponent takes 1 Prize Card. If tails, your opponent takes 2 Prize Cards, as normal.

[W][C] Mystic Water 40
The defending Pokemon cannot retreat during your opponent's next turn.

[W][W][C] Roaring Tidal Wave 130
Discard an energy card from this Pokemon. You may discard 2 energy cards. If you do, discard an energy attached to the defending Pokemon.

W- [L]
R- --
RC- [C][C]

Giratina EX :190 HP {P}

{P}{C} Stuff of Nightmares:
Place 3 damage counters on three of the opponents pokemon, then place 3 damage counters on Giratina EX.

{P}{P}{C}{C} Shadow Force:
This attack does 50 damage to all of the opponent's pokemon with damage counters on them. Apply Weakness and Resistance, even on benched pokemon.
Put two energy cards attached to Giratina EX into the lost zone.

W:{P}
R:--
RC: {C} x3

Dailga EX 180 HP {M}

Ability: Pure Metal: Dialga EX cannot be affected by special conditions. All damage done to Dialga EX is reduced by 20 for each {M} energy attatched to it.

{M}{M} Troll cannon: 80
Discard a {M} energy attached to Dialga EX. Heal the same amount of damage you did to the defending pokemon from Dialga EX.

W: {R}
R: {P}
RC: {C} x4

Palkia EX : 180 HP {W}

Ability: Space Warp:
Once during your turn, before you attack, you may flip a coin. If heads, you may choose one of your benched pokemon (excluding this Pokemon) and return it to your hand. Your opponent may chooses one to return as well.

{W}{C} Spacial Rend: 60
Discard up to two energies attached to the defending pokemon.

W: {L}
R: --
RC: {C} x2

Mewtwo is a perfect counter, but this Giratina would still be threatening early game. Dialga tanking wouldn't be hard to beat with Reshiram and possibly Victini, and Palkia EX is fun.

Groundon Ex 180HP [F] type
Basic

Ability: Quick Quake

When you place this card from your hand onto your bench, Place 1 other [F] pokemon (and all cards attached) on your bench on top of your deck. Then select a number of [F] energy equal to the number of cards returned by this effect and attach them to [F] pokemon on your bench. Shuffle your deck afterwards

Evolution Eruption

[F][F][F]

Both players search their decks for as many evolution cards as possible and use them to evolve as many of their pokemon as they can. Any card not evolved by this effect is returned to the owners deck. Both players shuffle their decks.

Weakness [W]
Resist[lightning]
Retreat [C] [C]

[Ex Rule]
--------------------------------------

Accel's energy, can remove both basic and evolution pokemon (including itself)
the reason it has a retreat cost of 2 is to prevent heavy ball abuse

(yes this is copypaste of one of my posts in the create-a-pokemon topic)
