I am sure there are a couple future sets worth waiting after the Diamond and Pearl era Pokémon debut.

My picks:
-a Diamond and Pearl era starter set
-a Dark Pokémon/Light Pokémon set
-another Delta Species set using Diamond and Pearl Pokémon
-a "Team [insert name]" set featuring a new team or a revival of Team Rocket and/or Team Magma and Team Aqua featuring dual Darkness type Pokémon

I don't think they will have Alpha, Beta or Gamma, cause they'we been used in Sky Ridge. Perhaps, Epsilon or Zeta, or even something after.
