XY Gen 3 Remake or Gen 7?

OMG YES PLS.

I've wanted the 3rd gen remakes so badly after HGSS it nearly hurts. ;-; Also, Emerald is one of my favorite versions (if not my #1 fave) and I'd really want to see it remade in an XY style.

Hoenn has incredible music, beautiful environments and awesome Pokémon, and it'd be frickin' amazing to see it with a modern look & sound and you know, stuff. ;P

And mah goodness... Imagine the Secret Bases. They could do something really cool with those (and maybe improve them a bit - so that they could actually give you something awesome.)

Now that they've successfully moved onto 3DS consoles, I feel like its the best time for them to drop Hoenn remakes. In my opinion, it wouldn't make sense business-wise to drop Generation 7 that soon, but something similar could be possible. With X and Y only introducing 72 new Pokemon, maybe they will introduce another 70 or so more in the next 'generation' as a continuation of generation 6. Its just weird that Gamefreak only released about 70 Pokemon in a game that they hyped up so much and I feel like there's a good reason for that.

I totally would love hoenn remakes but I personally think if we went back ther then it should be a sequel instead. However, I think that we will get gen 7 first if only because of the strange souvenir. Personally I believe that if we do get gen 7 it will be based off either England or Spain for multiple reasons. Also if we were to get hoenn sequels it probably would be with rather generic villains to the franchise.

This doesn't advance the discussion at all, but I wish they would offer Gen 1 as digital downloads. Remakes would be awesome too.
But my vote would be for Gen 3 remakes.

Personally I think this pushes Z right to the point of confirmed. A nice little break with remakes then re-introduce us back into Kalos!

Or, Hoenn is connected to Kalos and when you finish OR / AS you (DLC) cross a newly built bridge to kalos.
