Hey there, I have a question about Pokemon in general, I consider myself an avid fan of the franchise as a whole but one thing has puzzled me as of recently...
Has there ever been a serious attempt, (in show or other wise) at describing how a Pokeball works? Meaning:
1.) How they shrink the Pokemon into the ball.
2.) Does the Pokemon go into an immediate sleep state when entering the ball?
3.) Why can Pokemon survive years in the ball without a trainer for food or medical needs. etc...
I've come to understand that the trainer has to do something to make the ball bigger before releasing the Pokemon, but that's about all I've gathered from the process...
I'm quite aware that when it comes down to it none of this is real, but Pokeballs are the key factor in almost all aspects of Pokemon and I want to understand how they work...
