Itself...that is, Gengar LV.X. You can place some Cursed Drop around, and then use the Compound Pain to take a few easy prizes. You can also use it in conjunction with Shadow Skip Gengar to Knock a Pokemon Out, then switch to this guy and send him to the Lost Zone.
Because this card is so fluid it works well with most anything that is Psychic-type (Nidoqueen, hint hint).
If/When Lost World gets released, that'll be a good card to match this with. Some interesting ideas are Seeker and Omastar MD, although the second is... disputable as to how good it will be. Mew Prime is a common choice as a main attacker for this deck, too.
^ I think mew prime is just a tech in this deck (and can work against it too) So only 1 or 2 is enough. I would play 2 prime and 1 AR gengar (1 X of course) since it gives the player a choice on how to play vs the opponents deck. That would be the main pokemon. Then there is room for techs and alternative strategies, and that makes this deck interesting.
Ok, yea I do hope that the Lost World Stadium is released becasue, that would definately make the deck work more fluently. I think I am going to run it with Uxie X, Gengar X, Mew Prime, and Nidoqueen if I can get some.
*sigh* FINEEEEEEEEEE.....Look at Spray Splash and tell me that those cards don't have synergy....really. A re-usable Flash Bite is just too good to pass up. I'm thinking of making some sort of KingGar deck based loosely on this concept. Mabye 4-2-4 Kingdra Prime, and 4-2-3-1(2 CurseGar, 1 Gengar Prime, 1 Lv. X)
I wish I had Gengar prime and Gengar X...
Two great cards. I would use Kingdra Prime as well. You could drop 10 damage on the board without having to use Super Scoop Up/PokeTurn! I would also run 3 Crobat G from Platinum to drop at the most of 90 damage on the board. (+10 from Kingdra Prime, +40 from Crobat (Poketurned x4), and another 40 for Cursed Drop). I need to look into making this deck--once I have enough Kingdra and Gengar. ~JS
^ But you were talking about running it with kingdra prime. Gengar AR has noting with kingdra prime... It would be much easier to run gengar AR with crobat(s) and poke turns/seekers.
Yeah, I still don't know why that works with Kingdra prime. If anything else, it hinders it. CurseGar is already slow enough, it doesn't need a second Stage 2 to try and get out.
