This is the Team I beat the elite 4 with on Firered:

Mr.Mime Lv.64-no item
Moves:psychic,Shock Wave,Magical Leaf,Psybeam

Blastoise Lv.56-no item
Moves:Surf,Icebeam,Bite,Rain Dance

How did you beat them with only 2 pokemon? Or did you forget to post the rest of the team?

.::Rate my Nidorino::.

Name: Nidorino
Reason: Using it for an UU battle....Coz Nidoking was the 1st TCG card I brought.
-Sucker Punch
-Confusion
-Beat Up
-Counter
I am planning to evo him into Nidoking....on Lv.50.

I would go for megahorn instead of counter and poison jab instead of confusion. Then he has at least one stab attack that can deal some serious damage. the best ability would be poison point BTW

Uhhh ... I'm a beast? Just 2 Pokemon. :D

In hind-sight, I probably should have gotten off my lazy butt and gotten enough coins to get TM 30 to teach Mr.Mime Shadow Ball. But it still worked.

For D/P users, I suggest teaching Mr.Mime focus blast over psybeam because It's the only special fighting attack it can learn and to cover it's weakness ({D}).

To be honest Future Sight might be better since it is the only prychic move that damages Dark Pokémon.

I would personally choose focus blast over future sight to take out the opponent before it takes me out or does a lot of damage. I'm not saying that you're wrong, I just prefer focus blast. And what is this prychic type? I do not believe I have heard of it.:D

Sorry. I hit R instead of S. But both might be good selections.

Nice team. But wouldent Blissey be more effective with Solarbeam? Maybe a Thunderbolt for Gengar because of its high Special Attack. And Shadow Ball for Mr. Mime because Charge Beam has a accuracy of 90 and a power of 50. Shadow Ball 80 power and 100 accuracy. So this might give the team a better edge. Also I would give Mr. Mime Wise Glasses as they boost the power of Special Attacks.

RE: In-game Team Rates

Team Dillon512
Hi Guys! I'm new to pokemon, just brought platnium for my dsi =)

My pokemon only range from lvl15 - lvl20 :)

Thought I'd list my pokemon, and just ask everyones advice on how I'm doing and if im going in the right direction!

So here they are:

Luxio - lvl 17
Tackle
Leer
Charge
Spark

Monferno - lvl 20
Flame Wheel
Mach Punch
Ember
Fury Swipes

Staravia - lvl 19
Endeavor
Double Team
Quick Attack
Wing Attack

Budew - lvl 15
Absorb
Mega Drain
Water Sport
Stun Spore

Psyduck - lvl 18
Confusion
Scratch
Disable
Water Gun

Kadabra - lvl 17
Teleport
Confusion

The main purpose of my team is to have two pokemon that can defeat one element. So if im vs a rock trainer, I at least have one water and one grass pokemon or if im vs a water trainer, I have my leaf and electric pokemon =)

I'm not sure if I should cut my pokemon down to 5 and just have a HM slave either.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks for reading ^.^

RE: In-game Team Rates

yeah your heading in the right direction
for me i think you have to many pokemon for your stage in the game
think you should just focus on a few then build up as the game progresses

RE: In-game Team Rates

Oh awesome, ty!
Yeah i got a bidoof as my HM slave now.
Took Kadabra out of my team since pysduck now has confusion ^_^

Well, unfortunately it's too late now, but I would have suggested getting Piplup instead of Chimchar, which would move Psyduck out of the team, and then catch a Houndour later in the game.

To be honest Torterra has alot more type coverage then Piplup or Empoleon and Infernape. Tortera takes advantage of fire/water/poison/rock/ground/electric/steel types. Infernape is strong agians grass/bug/rock/steel/ice/dark types. While Empoleon is good with fire/rock/ground/ice types and is uneffected by poison type moves and abilitys that cause poison condition. In all either Torterra or Infernape are good choices. Infernape was a good go with. Keep the team as is but don't teach Staraptor Close Combat.

RE: In-game Team Rates

Dillon512, your team seems pretty good, nice type covering
keep it going.
By the way do you have wi-fi?
