Yes decided we needed one of these before new years started.

Basically one person gets pitted against another and than they make something GFX related. Than the winner progresses to the next round to battle the next opponent. The next round the winner may choose to make a new one or keep the currently entered signature.

Basically I need to know we have some support before this gets underway so please just PM me saying that you're in. I need a minimum of say 6 (but preferably 8) people for this to happen. I looked at the shops and I know that we easily have 8 capable GFXers here so just join for some fun.

This will be edited as we get members willingly to join and then the entrants will get randomly paired using some sort of internet program (PM if you know one.)

Now obviously there will be a few topics dedicated to this so hopefully mods don't get annoyed with this!

Also if my ideas came through we'd have a competitions thread for GFX but oh well this'll do for now :p
 
ok well it's like that secret santa battle thread made by PDC.

It's an elimination tournament (duh should of written that the first time :p) and yeah basically you make a sig or anything to battle another GFXer. Than hopefully we can get the community to vote on their favourite or if not I will get a select unbiased group not participating to vote for the winner of each battle.

I hope that's clear enough.

And we still have quite a few members who haven't seen this yet and I have a very strong feeling they'd like to join!

Don't forget to PM other GFX members or just anyone really. Keep it interesting with heaps of rounds :p
 
I'll enter...only if there's NO Kirby-mon's & scratch-sprites (as I suck @ them).
 
^sorry noob to this whole pokecommunity thing kind of. What does that mean :S.

But anyway it's a GFX contest so I guess anything can go down but I hope the majority of people use signatures aha
 
Yeah, LV can make sigs. You might need to look further back, Josh ;D

Any idea when this will start/end? At some point next week I'm going to be away for a few days.

Unless some MS Paint n00bs come from nowhere and join.... then....
 
Ok guys we reached eight contestants! I will give this topic only one more day than signups are finished so alert anyone else who hasn't signed up that you think would like to join!

And also I didn't mean he didn't make tags just had no clue what a bloody kirby-mon is aha. And I said I assume that most people will be doing tags because I thought they weren't related. Still don't know what a kirby-mon is :p
 
oh like fusions? Yeah hell no aha.

Yeah just wanted to do a basic showdown where people can do what ever they want with in some size boundaries so I guess spriting crap can be done but doubt they'd get very far at all compared to signatures :p
