GFX Showdown

well depending on the amount of members really. It will be one round per week probably to give all contestants adequate time to make there signature. However it can be a little shorter if people will want it to be but I need to make sure everybody can enter or it isn't fair.

So yeah since we have 8 people it would be like this. Using Random variables :p

week 1

? vs ! ---- ! wins
W vs L --- L wins
* vs () ---- () wins
@ vs & --- & wins

week 2

! vs L --- L wins
() vs & --- () wins

week 3

L vs () --- L is the champion! and then he gets bragging rights for the next contest woot! haha jks :p

But yeah so at this rate 3 rounds

no it's not aha. wait now we need 3 more for this to work hmmm.... or we can have a 3 way grand final.. for this to work the best tag out of the lot in the first round gets a free run to the final thus skipping the 2nd round. The others battle regularly than in the final it's a vote out of the remaining 3.

But my first preference is to get 3 more people! So guys the race is on get 3 more entrants!
 
We should like make a seperate thread for voting and work submission... Just to keep it neat...
 
Although I know that I am going to lose miserably, I'll do it for fun XD (btw don't laugh if I lose XD)

haha well actually since the only number possible for it to work now is 12 there will be 6 people eliminated first so yeah don't be disappointed it's only for fun!

Actually I worked something out that will work. This current way it will be a 3 way final which is not ideal. So I have come up with this and I need some opinions.

Now the first round is normal with the contestants vsing their opponents. Than obviously the best 6 go through. Than once the 6 battle their will be 3 remaining. A 3 way final is not ideal so maybe we get a wildcard that allows the person that made the best tag that was previously eliminated to return to make a 4 person round. Than the best two battle in the grand final. Sound good?
 
yes but as I said this isn't going to work with 10 people so we need 12. Or if anyone has any ideas to work with 10 than entries start today so yeah brainstorm here

5 Matches of 1v1 - 5 winners

Round 2
Use members to vote... Round 1 winners submit new art.. Top 4 votes go to round 3

Round 3
2 Matches of 1v1 - 2 winners

Finals
1v1, the winners of round 3 (for championship) and 1v1 losers of round 3 - for 3rd and 4th (not must)
 
ye going with his. I pmed someone to be a fair judge and to make it fair for the others I told that person to make a team of 3 or 5 and not tell me who was chosen so it's a bit more fair for the rest of the entrants.

Just waiting to see if they accept the offer and then I'll make the entries topic for round 1.
 
Judge for choosing the best art? I think votes from members would be better..
 
na but the community will probably just vote for the person and not the actual entry.

Unless that's what the rest of the contestants want. And also the contestants may not vote for themselves or get others to vote for them. The community must vote solely on the piece presented.
