Card of the Day: Gigalith

I think its pretty decent. Would have been a boss in Vileplime/Reuniclus.

In BW-on, It could serve as a tank, because if you load up your bench with damage, it could spit out a lot of damage especially with Weakness.
It has a high HP a Terrible retreat and 2 not so bad attacks. It weakness is great too.

I'd give it a 6/10. It would be a pretty fun rogue with EXs and Reuniclus, but above that it just can't be used.

I imagine that this Pokemon could play a part in a powerful Fighting Deck paired with Landorus! Really, think about it. You can potentially deal 100 + damage on turn 3 by using Klinklang BLW to move an energy and then attach DCE! OR, you could keep on letting Landorus attack as long as he can without getting KO'd, and then switch to Gigalith for a WIDE load of damage. I'd add Zekrom in a deck like that too to supplement the Resistance that "Flying" types have against Fighting.

I generally love those decks that get stronger the more you fill up your bench, but I think a lot of decks are like that in one way or another. Seriously boss potential in today's card, I can feel it!

When Celebi EX hits the US, this card will be alot better. You can Earthquake you're bench to charge it's first attack and after there's quite a bit of damage, Revenge OHKO, (Fighting types always seem to be the Avenger) and take with you're Gigalith. In other words, it's kinda like the new DonChamp. But that's just my opinion.

Gigalith just came a bit too late. If it would be played in this meta, it could be really cool in Truth, doing tons of damage. But without a bench sitting Item-Locker, there isn't much for Gigalith to be with, meaning in the BW-on meta, it probably won't see any play.
