I'm pretty sure almost everyone is like "oh I'm new at this" and modest and such so I'm just going to skip that awkward-overly nice lecture and tell you my team.
So my lead is:
Aggron (Rusty) @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy/Filter
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 health, 252 defense, 4 attack
Moves:
Iron Head
Dragon Tail
Thunder Wave
Earthquake
Rusty here is my lead, and a bulky one at that. Mega Aggron can take at least one hit of anything, besides a full attack-invested close combat terrakion. Thunder Wave works great with Mega Aggron, quickly crippling pokemon that rely on their speed. Dragon Tail is for hazing/switching up the opponent's pokemon, Iron Head is a good stab move plus it kills fairies (which I fear w/ a passion) and earthquake is for coverage.
Ditto (Squishy) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
Nature: Lonely
EVs: 254 Health
Moves:
Transform
Alright, yes I'm a bit of a Ditto troll. In my defense, I used Ditto (in-game, not competitively) before Imposter because I've always loved him. Ditto is a great revenge killer, and his use varies from situation to situation. He's gimmicky, but I've used him for a while and I've got a feel on how to use him.
Crobat (Fangs) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator
Nature:
EVs: 252 Health, 252 Speed, 4 Attack
Moves:
Defog
Brave Bird
Roost
Taunt
Fangs's job is to stop stallers/walls. With Infiltrator allowing it to sneak past substitute, Brave Bird can take out pokemon hiding behind those nefarious plush dinosaurs. Defog works great with my team since I don't use hazards. Taunt is to outspeed stallers and leave them helpless, which gives Crobat a turn to heal with Roost.
Zoroark (Shadow) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Illusion
Nature: Naive
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Attack
Moves:
Sucker Punch
Focus Blast
Dark Pulse
Flamethrower
I think I mentioned above how I have a very gimmicky battle style. Zoroark, when used correctly (and carefully) can be one heck of a mind game and another great revenge killer. I gave Zoroark a Focus Sash because he is very fragile, and I'd prefer to keep him alive. I planned on having Zoroark illusioned as ________ (leaning towards uxie but crobat is also an option?), and then having Zoroark pounce with Sucker Punch or Dark Pulse. Focus Blast and Flamethrower are both for coverage. While Zoroark has a lot of downfalls, I used him a lot last gen and he did great, and with Aggron the fairy-killer to back him up, I think Zoroark can manage himself just fine.
Greninja (Bubbles) @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Special Defense
Moves:
Grass Knot
Hydro Pump
Extrasensory
Ice Beam
Greninja is one of my favorite sweepers, and with his new HA, incredibly fun to use. Since Zoroark stole the Life Orb, I decided to give Greninja an expert belt because his moves cover a wide range of types and he can usually sweep with some form of super-effectiveness, and even if he isn't super effective Hydro Pump still delivers a good chunk of damage. Grass Knot is to kill all those pesky water-types, Hydro Pump is for stab, and Extrasensory and Ice Beam for the rest of my coverage. I've considered switching Extrasensory for Dark Pulse, but with Zoroark it seems fairly redundant.
Uxie @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 Health, 252 Special Defense, 4 Defense
Moves:
Yawn
U-Turn
Protect
Psyshock
I originally had Tentacruel in this last spot, but after Crobat took the utility spot, it left me with some elbow room for a special tank. Uxie is a good transition pokemon, with the classic yawn+u-turn. Protect is to scope the opponent's moveset/gain leftovers heal, and psyshock is a good stab move that hits physically.
Ok so here's what I need opinions on (tho feel free to note anything outside of these main questions)
1. Who should Zoroark disguise as? Uxie or Crobat? Or somebody else?
2. Are there any synergy problems?
3. Does Uxie fit with the rest of the team or should I consider another pokemon?
So my lead is:
