GIMP....

I keep making banners on GIMP and I've tried saving them as JPEG, GIF, and Gimp XCF. But no matter what I save them as I can't upload them on photoshack. :/ Anyone know what the problem is? Please? I want to upload some I've made.

First of all...NEVER save as .jpeg or .jpg, the only files you should save them as when you upload should be .png or .gif

.png - great quality

.gif - animation

what is photoshack? is that photobucket or imageshack?...

.xcf cannot be uploaded.

like celtics kid said, go to tinypic, right next to the upload area it even sais what files to upload.

Oh sorry. >.< I mean Imageshack. Well that stinks, I uploaded it as XCF. -_-

You can also try Photobucket.
Like Flygon said always save as a PNG for banner makeing (unless it's an animation, that's when you save as a Gif).

One thing btw. Before you combine all layers into one save it as a .xcf file, so you can change something if needed.
