Strategy

Ok so I changed it up a bit, and here's the new strategy I'm thinking of. (Pretty much the same as before but without Klinklang and more trainers for consistency) Basically you want to start with Victini and at least one Honedge, then search/attach Victory Piece to Victini and Turbo Energize two metal energy onto the Honedge. You want to then attach a DCE, evolve into Shield Aegislash, and attach a muscle band. Victini can then, (if it hasn't been knocked out yet) attack, power up another Honedge if one is available, or retreat with a Float Stone and save for later if you really need it for another Honedge. Next turn get out your Sword Aegislash or a Keldeo w/ Float Stone. In the end you want a powered up active Aegislash with muscle band, a Shield and Sword switching, with a Float Stone Keldeo on the bench ready to stall Shield Aegislash if Sword Aegislash gets KO'd. (Keep in mind a Muscle Band King's Shield+Muscle Band Buster Swing=210. Even if they Pokemon center it's still 190 damage, which I dare an EX to survive outside Mega) Mr.Mime to protect the bench of course. Switch in case Mr.Mime or something get's stuck in the active without a means to retreat. Pokemon Center to heal bits of damage off Sword Aegislash while on the bench after getting damaged as well as a counter to other stadiums. The rest is pretty much self explanatory.

RE: Glade (Aegislash/Klinklang)

Obviously you realize that running twin lines of Stage 2 Pokemon is nearly impossible to setup in today's meta.

There is a way, actually, but it's very crazy and involves running the following:

4 Juniper/Sycamore
4 N/Shauna
4 Ultra Ball
4 Rare Candy
3 Skyla
4 Bicycle
4 Skates

Essentially, all you are doing is cycling to a TON of cards to get your cards out ASAP. If you don't have at least 80% of the above engine, your deck won't stand a chance. I would cut unnecessary Pokemon and fit in a heavy-duty engine like the one above.

RE: Glade (Aegislash/Klinklang)

I have to agree with that. Maybe not the cards he suggested but the fact that its really hard to set up 2 of those pokemon. You should realize that Aegislash doesnt need protection from Plasma Steel. All the deck really needs to work is The defensive Aegislash and then rush in/retreat with Keldeo Ex to use kings shield over and over. If you can successfully pull that off, then you can easily just prevent any damage from your pokemon from any attacks. Bar that of G booster and of that sort that ignore all effects.

RE: Glade (Aegislash/Klinklang)

I know this. The point of the deck is to kill anything by combining both Aegislash and Macho brace. If I let you cut the 2 Durant and the Klinklang line and maybe Mr.Mime, what would you add and why?

RE: Glade (Aegislash/Klinklang)

I would actually keep the Mr Mime. Just incase of spread damage. Eitherway the 14 pokemon could be fine. You could try Cobalion Ex and regular if you want more basics. Those are both pretty decent.

Also get rid of pokemon center. You dont do enough damage to OHKO things and letting your opponent retreat and heal off damage wont help your cause.

Drop Lifedew for Victory Piece. Since you have victini ex. Why not?

RE: Glade (Aegislash/Klinklang)

The reason I want pokemon center is to help counter other stadiums at best while still being beneficial. And technically I do "ohko" in two turns.. lol. Ok so I do 70 but then I can't be touched next turn and then go in for 140 to make 210 without being damaged. If I did cut down the pokes to only 4-2-4 Aegislash, 2 Victini EX, 1 Keldeo EX and 1 Mr.Mime, what should I add to my trainers? (ik search cards but ultra or heavy and how many) and what else? Remember I'm brand new to this. :|

RE: Glade (Aegislash/Klinklang)

You could try laserbank. Basically 2-3 virbank city gym. 4 Hypnotoxic laser. This can make your damage hit 100 and possibly keep the pokemon in the active with sleep, so you can knock it out on your following attack.

You also need a pokemon search of some sort. I usually go with 2 level 2 ultra. But it could work with heavy if they all have a retreat cost of 3.

Maybe 1 or 2 switches.
