Round 1 - Results
The results for this round have come in a little early because of prompt voting. Three votes were placed on @double o squirtle and he has been eliminated along with his balls. (He hadn't actually had a chance to vote yet but in the interest of keeping the game moving quickly we'll move on).

The key question for the remaining players though, is who was telling the truth, and what was on everyone's back row?

OK my back row is Rotom-Wash, Xatu and a killer. I'm fine with claiming the killer cos both of you have one on your front row, and Xatu is the new one for this round, I suppose.

I felt bad for lying in the first round about my back row but I hope you two can see that it was justified given the hand I was dealt in life. I did claim a poor Pokémon which is an at least comparable level with a killer, anyway, but one that's also incredibly cute ^w^.

Disappointed that Vracken lied tbh. Lying about the killer isn't the worst thing in the world, but certainly isn't great. Lying about the Sneasel and claiming it as a Weavile rubs me the wrong way though; it was a fairly unnecessary play to make. I also feel bad for Lorde that I ever doubted her, but I'm still very concerned with her admission that she might steal. Stealing in this game really isn't ideal, as it doesn't test the battling skill, which I think is a big part of the game's design tbh :\

I also think that, overall, we actually took out the worst rack of balls in the first round. Comfey and Stoutland are both poor, and naturally getting rid of the killer is great. Losing Ferrothorn sucks, but we had no confirmation that Ferrothorn would actually be on the final team, whereas it was likely that one of Comfey, Stoutland or the killer would end up there, and all of them would hurt the team in the long run. On the other hand, keeping my Mesprit and Rotom-Mow at the cost of two killers is imo a good play as both Pokémon are excellent and also quite versatile, which is I think important in this game in regards to the champion battle.

Why am I the only one that didn't lie again? Oh, and back row is Toxicroak, Starmie, and Raticate. Not great but with 4 other killers out there...

- DoS lying about his back row was something I had confirmed in my head, all the signs pointed towards it. Not surprised Blissey was put in for Comfey. Looks like he just got really unlucky.
- Vracken lying also wasn't a surprise. I knew something was off with the whole "always evens out to be average" theory. That was a bad argument from the start, and there was no point in doing any of that.
- Celever got so incredibly lucky his killers were both in back, unbelievable. Not surprised he lied, I would have lied. But props to him for making himself look trustworthy for only revealing one of them. Genius.

Waiting for @Vracken to claim before speaking again.

Oh lame, I didn't realise our stuff was revealed otherwise I would have played differently. I have a killer in my back row as well as a GS ball and thunderus -T. Averaging out is not a bad argument, it is actually a standard one to make in games of chance like these as it is all about distribution. It is pretty safe to assume that there is a decent chance that everyone is going to have a killer or that someone is going to have two, that is how distribution works. Same goes for having good or bad Monsanto, don't argue with statistics, it will win.. I am interested in your countered argument as to what makes it bad though Lorde, discord me once the game is over (I will try to remember as well)

@Celever, lying about sneasel is the same as lying about a killer, rubbing you the wrong way is a load of crap, it is a trash mon, just one step up from a killer, the whole point of this game is to inflate yourself without looking too good to be true. And Lorde, of course you didn't lie, you had nothing to lie about, don't act high and mighty about it, superiority isn't a good look when that was pretty much the best play to make

I am probably the best choice to vote out, depends on how you guys want to play that GS ball, as it is probably pretty good

Sneasel has a lot of redeemable points about it. Strong Knock Off, good priority in Ice Shard, etc.. It's one of the only non-LC basic Pokémon who can evolve for good reason. It's better than the Camerupt I had to claim, for example.

Yeah, Vracken is the best to vote out in terms of balls. However, if Lorde is going to steal in the next round, I'd rather take Vracken, honestly.

This is a reminder that the discussion phase can be ended early if the majority of players post ##ENDPHASE.

Round 3
In this round, all of the balls have been randomly allocated to 11 positions. The 11 balls are made up from each of Celever and Lord o da ring's set in Round 2, as well as an additional Killer ball.

@Celever and @Lord o da rings, you are about to choose your final team. Celever has been allocated to Odds and Lord o da rings has been allocated to Evens. Celever must choose 3 odd numbered balls to put into the final team, and Lord o da rings must choose 3 even numbered balls to put into the final team. The other balls will be discarded. You have 48 hours to do this. Good luck!

Final Round - Split or Steal

To decide who gets to use that wonderfully atrocious team, we play Split or Steal. As a reminder, the rules are:

· If both players choose Split, both players battle with the final team on Pokémon Showdown to see which of them will face the Champion.
· If one player chooses Steal and the other chooses Split, the player who chose Steal will advance to fight the Champion and the player who chose Split gets nothing.
· If both players choose Steal, then both players lose and neither goes on to fight the Champion. Instead, the players who were eliminated in Rounds 1 and 2 battle to determine which of them will fight the Champion, using the created team.

(Note: the last point has been changed to ensure that at least someone emerges to fight a potential Champion)

In this round there is a discussion phase lasting 48 hours and then a choosing phase that lasts 24 hours. The choice of Split or Steal must be sent to me via PM. Again, the discussion round can be ended early if both players post ##ENDPHASE.

With all that said, let's get the final round underway.

I'm going to split, and this has been my plan from the beginning of the game. To steal would simply be back-handed and, especially considering the terrible team we've ended up with, it's hardly an amazing team to try and steal. Plus, stealing makes this more of a game of skill, as we both get to battle, and we've made it this far already.

I'm splitting as well. As I told a couple of people privately already, the main reason I expressed uncertainty was because I had no idea how others would react. I never planned to steal, especially a team made of up half killers.

Split or Steal - Decision
Now it's time to decide. You know the drill!

Always my favourite choice, well done ^w^

Anyway, take some time to prepare your teams, and then get on with the battling! Make sure to save your replay on Showdown (or else the battle won't count)!
