Standard Golisipod Deck

This is a rough draft of a deck idea I was throwing around in my head. The main idea is bulk up Golisipod as much as possible with his ability, the eeveelutions for weakness, aether conservatory (grass and some other type take 30 less damage), and choice band. Garbodor probably makes the deck too clunky but I included it because it's an insane stage one attacker and why not. 20 items is probably also a problem but I'm not sure how the deck would run without them.

Any recommendations on edits to the deck would be appreciated, again this is a really rough draft so feel free to tear me apart.

Golisipod/Garbodor/Eeveeluions Deck

17 Pokémon
3-3 Wimpod Golisipod
2-2 Trubbish Garbodor
2-3 Eevee Flare/Jolt/Vapor
1 shaymin
1 oranguru

32 Trainers

4 Sycamore
3 N
2 Lysandre

3 Aether Cons.

4 Ultra Ball
4 Level Ball
4 VS Seeker
4 Trainers Mail
4 Energy Lotto

11 Energy
4 Grass Energy
3 Psychic Energy
4 DCE

Aether Paradise only works with Basics dude.

-3 Aether Paradise

+3 Forest of Giant Plants

Also, 4 Energy lotto is a bit nuts.

-2 Energy Lotto

+1 Psychic Energy
+1 Smeargle

DCE seems important, so I would recommend special charge.

-1 N
+1 Special Charge

Other than that, this list seems decent. Nice deck! :)

Damn, I can't read, that would've been nice though haha. I was using 4 energy lotto as somewhat of a max elixir (I play darkrai turbo so I immediately went to this lol) but 4 probably is a little much. Also, I really like the Smeargle tech, forgot that existed. Thanks for the advice.

Your welcome! Yeah, I remember Smeargle being a popular tech in alot of decks and then just kind of fading. Weird how that happens. I bet someday TCG players are gonna be like, "What the heck is a Shaymin-EX?!" lol

What the heck is uxie?

On a side note i do agree with most of the recomendations except for forest of giant plants. Because you are a stage 1 that needs 2 energy attatchments without max elixers fogp will have very minimal use. Instead i would maybe consider silent lab, yes it will nulify orangurur, but it is still very good. You should also consider field blower which could replace the stadiums and choice banf for the extra damage.

A while back a few of us at our league were talking about combining Golisopod, Assault Vest and Aether PCA to reduce damage by 100. Sadly as someone pointed out that is only basics, however you may find some use as -70 is very good, and Special Energy is all over the meta right now.

Yeah wouldn't that be nice, I don't think Running AV is worth the damage reduction over choice band though, choice band allows Golisipod to hit the magic 180 to one shot any EX without a FFB.

Also I can't decide on what stadium to run with this, FOGP seems useless because you need two turns to set up the energy anyway, silent lab is too much to work around honestly because [UPDATE] I plan on running a copy of Winona to act as a Hoopa-EX and grab all my setup (shaymin, oranguru, smeargle) and silent lab would shut down all three, however, if I could use Winona then drop a silent lab that would be perfect, just not sure how viable that is. Honestly I'm not sure of any other viable options as parallel city would reduce damage and chaos tower seems pointless, any thoughts?

I would just use Field Blowers and no Stadiums because Field Blower gets rid of Belts too.

-3 Stadium
+3 Field Blower

Also, any Golisopod deck needs Choice Band.

-1 Trainer Mail
-1 Oranguru
-1 I have no clue, sorry :/

+3 Choice Band

You NEED Choice Band to hit 180, it's mandatory.

Here's my updated list for the deck. I always planned on using Choice Band, duh, but neglected it in the deck list, oops.
