Good Cheap Deck

Hi im extremly new at the trading card game. i just bought a theme deck yesterday but just realized how bad it is...:( i really want to know of a good deck to use competitively but a deck not completly overused like the mewtwo and darkrai, but heres the trickey part i need to be able to purchase this deck for less than $40 max is $50 and it dosent need all 4 catchers please give me advice of a good deck to use.
 
Go for a Rogue Deck if you really want to do that.

Are you wanting BW-On or NXD-On?

Also, Mewtwo and Darkrai are cheap so those are viable options and they aren't bad.

oh how much does mew2 and darkrai cost? im looking for whatever is good in competitive and i dont know what a rouge deck is
 
Mewtwo EX promo:$5-$8
Darkrai EX: Same.

I would play speed Darkrai or Darkrai toolbox.

how much exactly would i cost to buy the whole deck and if you know anything about garbodor decks with the ability that stops other pokemons ability when garbodor has an item please give me an approximate price on that too.
 
With catchers...About $130-$150

Without it would be $70-90.

A skeleton would be:

2 Cobalion EX
2 Landorus EX
3 Trubbish
3 or 2 Garbodor

4 Junipers
4 N
2-3 Colress

4 Catcher
3-4 Float Stone
2 more Tools.

It isn't a real deck without catchers. I want to note that if you want a competitive deck, you have to splurge for the catchers or the deck isn't competitive. It isn't an optional cost.

well yesterday i had 4 but now i cant find them:(

also what is the absolute cheapest deck that is still good in competitions please give the name and prices with and without catchers
 
NXD-On or BW-On? I'm assuming NXD-On

I'm still assuming that without Catcher the deck wouldn't do well in competitions, so you have to take that into account.
 
Darkrai is probably the best top tier deck that is really cheap still; the tin promo makes Darkrai one of the cheaper EXes and most of the rest of it is lower rarity cards and staples. There are several decks better than it now but those require you to get more expensive EXes.
