Strategy: The point is to set up vileplume and reuniclus and lock them out of attacking with Beartic. Reshi and Zekky are damage sponges and work well with reunilcus because of outrage. I had KGL in there but I took it out. I might add it back in or maybe an SEL. Please post your advice below. Thanks! :D
 
i wouldnt play beartic ass your main attacker in google. he is to vulnerable to OHKOs. maybe drop the line to 1-1 or 2-2 and add some d-phans and rainbow enrgy. this deck will almost auto-loss to magneboar/yanzone. The opponent will send something up, let it get killed and send magnezone up and drop 3 energy. he can consistantly do that. SEL is really good to. it basically won me a battle road.

130 hp is the magic number. Basically only magnezone ohko's it. If I'm missing anything else, please tell me. I'm thinking of SEL, but I thought it'd be repeditive coverage. What exactly ohko's beartic that doesn't ohko anything else?
 
what im saying is 130 isnt a magic number. people use kingdra and 120. donphan has a 120+2o damage resistance. It also takes 4 energy from magnezone to kill it from lost burn. SEL helps the match-up against reshiphlosion, but beartic works to. with d-phan, beartic, and SEL no deck in the format really works on you.

I'll try those, but Beartic locks their attacks. Vileplume locks pluspower. 130 seems to be the magic number for goth, so why not reun? I haven't seen kingdra anymore, so I think I'll be fine with that. Also, name 1 deck that runs kingdra and a pokemon that can get 120.
 
3 stage two's and I'm locking their rare candies? Also, if I need to I can just ohko them? Something tells me I'm not going to have a lot of trouble with that list.
EDIT: You said you beat it which kind of proves my point more...
 
you should at do this-
- 1-1 beartic
- 2 water enrgy
- 1 PONT
-1 flower shop lady
- 1 PETM

+1-1 donphan
+1-1 SEL
+ 3 rainbow enrgy

this will let you take OHKOs against reshiphlosion and have a better counter to magnezone and zoroark
 
I'll try that, test it at my league, and see how it goes. Is there anything else I could add to increase consistensy, or is this fine. I think I could get rid of Reshiram for something, maybe another phanphy?
 
no, the way you run it the donphan is a tech. I run beartic as a tech. to improve consistency get rid of the reshiram (or zekrom) for another pichu as a way to get basics and sacrifice for twins

Oh, I think I get it now. So Beartic or Donphan as a main attacker, depending on the local matchups, etc. and the other one as a tech?
