There has been one copy of Gorebyss and Huntail printed. We need some new ones that are at least DECENT! And we need some new, usable Nido cards! Stop with all the popular crap like Eeveelutions, Raichu's, and Gengar! We need something to liven up the format! (No offense to anybody who likes the above mentioned.) What do you guys think? What do you think needs to be printed?

Nidoqueen from Rising Rivals is quite popular, especially in Mother Gengar. Nidoking RR was also used in a couple of rogue decks. Gorebyss and Huntail... IDK maybe they got forgotten?

I got T16 my first year of competitive pokemon playing with gorebyss SW and electrode SW in Florida, Seniors though, masters division doesn't allow such silliness :p

Umm

Nidoqueen (RR) + Moonlight Stadium + Spiritomb equals a beast deck.

I used it in master's in FL. Won a spring BR with it and topped at Regionals, just saying.

Generic response: I think they should print a new, usable version of [insert your favorite Pokemon here]. It would make the format so much fresher and exciting!

While its true that some pokemon get WAY too much attention (Raichu, since DP, has been printed at least 7 times. Kangaskhan, since Base Set, has been printed at most 7 times), I think that the pokes seen in the top are quite differing. Lets make a list of some of the top decks of the past while, shall we?
Sableye, Garchomp, Luxray, Blaziken, Gengar, Nidoqueen, Torterra, Flygon, Gardevoir, Gallade, Regigigas, Machamp, Donphan, Kingdra, Beedrill, Magmortar, Honchkrow, Dialga, Palkia, Azelf, Uxie, Mespirit, Metagross, Dragonite, Banette, Jolteon, Absol, Dusknoir, Infernape, Delcatty, Lucario, Blissey, Empoleon, Bronzong, Toxicroak, Scizor, Steelix, Lugia, Blastoise, Manectric, Mew, Jumpluff, Gyarados.....thats 43 pokes already thats been used in winning decks over the past few years, and im sure I missed quite a few. I mean I'm not even counting stuff like Claydol, Raikou/Entei, Skuntank G....

One thing I don't undersand is why every Gengar has to be good. Gengar has been a good card in format since Fossil Set was released when pokemon Started. I think they need to give other pokemon a chance to be good. I mean they made Noctowl a shining but, they never made one good enought to be in format. That I dont understand.

That can't work for everyone, I can't say it for Cyndaquil. 100 HP, 50 damage for {R}. Won't happen.

Anyways, Venasaur and Charizard hasn't had a good card in a while (Charizard G, *Shudders*), Meganium and Swampert have been overlooked compared to their generation rivals, Feraligatr Rain Dance, Typhlosion Afterburner, Sceptile doubling energies, Blaziken FB etc. Empoleon also has been overlooked.

Wow, all seven of my favorites are actually good Pokemon cards (or a Lv.X/Prime):

Kingdra (Prime/Metagame)
Jumpluff (Metagame)
Lanturn (Prime)
Porygon-Z (the promo is better than you think...)
Magnezone (Lv.X)
Leafeon (Lv.X/Old Metagame and possibly some new)
Furret (Not so much but the SW was actually good, essentially double Poke Drawer + every turn for no energy)

So, If I wanted anything, the thing I wish we'd get is a playable Furret (maybe Prime?) *lols at his own idea* Think about it! It could be pretty cool. Furret Prime...

Gengar DP was pretty bad. Fun, but bad. Gengar LM...wasnt great either. Gengar Ex? Not that good either.

Look at that list I put up. Thats just decks I remember from the top of my head since Mewtric won Worlds. Im sure I forgot a boatload of pokes.

Although it is true that there are plenty of Pokemon that have been good over the years, I do believe that there are also plenty of Pokemon that have never had a good run. Tauros, Lapras, Tropius, Xatu, Exeggutor, Forretress, Camerupt, etc. Yes they have all been represented, but it seems that when they makes these cards they are somewhat "typecast" I mean Tauros and Lapras have always been starters, Tauros generally have attacks that involve other Tauros, whilst Lapras has...Water Gun. Tropius is always healing your bench with Grass Energy. Xatu is always doing something with Energy on the opposing Pokemon. Exeggutor likes to have a lot of energy and then flip a bunch of coins. Forretress kills itself, pretty much. Camerupt needs a bunch of energy to deal basic damage. I don't know why somebody hasn't suggested that Pokemon gets creative, instead of just bringing out all of the old cliches that some of these Pokemon have come to be associated with. Why is it that Flygon and Salamence get to do all of the heavy hitting, while nobody can actually remember the last time somebody made a Camerupt card

I agree. Yay...Gorebyss and Huntail have been since once in Great Encounters...

However, Pokemon like Salamence and Flygon somehow always get reprinted in a LV.X, ex, whatever. Salamence had three ex cards, in EX Dragon Frontiers, EX Power Keepers, (TWO consecutive sets?!), and EX Deoxys. Flygon made two appearances, in EX Legend Maker and in EX Dragon Frontiers.

We need to see more Espeon of a variety.

Lou: Gengar from EX Legend Maker was great with Curse Powder. Just saying.

To be honest, I don't think anyone really likes Gorebyss or Huntail.

Also Dunsparce. 'Nuff said.

Hmm.... I happen to like Gorbyss and Huntail... : /

Oh. And I REALLY hope they make a new version of them. Hopefully some with good attacks. lol. It would be hilarious if they made a Gorebyss and Huntail Prime. :D

They will never make these Pokemon useful and if they do, they'll slap a Drawpower thing on it like they did with Claydol/Uxie (typically meh Pokemon in the TCG). They choose what they want to have win, and it's none of these Pokemon unfortunately.

dmaster out.

Well, then, down with popular stuff! *pushes over itty bitty statue of Salamence, which breaks on the floor* Well, that was incredibly easy. Can you imagine if we had had some long, drawn-out conversation about this?

*lol, JK!*

But seriously, I want a Tauros I can make a deck around. Or a Cacturne I can pair with something. I swear, one more Eeveelution, one more Flygon, one more Salamence... AND NINTENDO AND I ARE GONNA' GO ROUNDS!!!!

Yeah! I want a Cacturne I can pair with something too. I tried pairing PL Cacturne with Giratina lv.x and Gengar AR. It worked pretty decent. (shockingly) I hope that soon we'll see more Pokemon like Smeargle, Arbok, Wigglytuff, Ariados, and maybe a decent Armaldo. Armaldo Prime would actually be kinda cool. :D

There are 2 copies of each, from LM and GE. Also I already won a state using the ones from LA so sheesh! And there's Nidoqueen from RR, it's quite popular I guess and...Raichu was ever popular?
