Only 3 Basic Pokemon??? When you finally do get one, your opponent, chances are, will have lots of extra cards from your mulligans. This gives your opponent a huge advantage, IMO.

How is your list "more consistent" given the above? Please understand, I am not criticizing; I am trying to better understand your thoughts behind your card choices.

Lastly, why "Burning" energy and not Splash energy?

Only 2 Basic Pokemon??? No card-draw Supporters (suppose either your Remoraid or Ocillery is prized)??? 23 Water energy are very excessive.

oops on the burning energy buit a skeleton list on ptgco
and more consistent because you guarantee the froakie start which is needed again until i can play it online it is hard to say but it is much better than 1 froakie and other basics as well
 
I like Kingqazbatt's deck list better except I would remove the BKP Greninja, 1 Wally, 1 Evosoda, and a TM for a XY Greninja, Manaphy EX, Remoraid, and Octillery also with your list you can't get back energy from the discard pile so I don't know what to take out but energy retrievals would help a lot

i feel the one breakpoint greninja is good as you can shut your opponents abilities off for the turn and that is the one i would prefer to attack with it would slow down their decks that rely on abilities like anything running bronzong

I get it now I wasn't looking at it's attack before but what should I take out for Energy Retrieval
 
my list runs fisherman to pull energy back to your hand but you could drop a few trainers mail for energy retrievals as well but superior energy retrieval is not in standard

I know for some reason I thought it was in Roaring Skies also Fisherman would use your supporter and shuffle them not give them to you so yeah I would add 2 ER

Superior Energy Retrieval is in plasma freeze. My suggestions would be:
-13 water energies (you will recycle them anyways)
-2 Splash Energies (is easily discarded, and can't use water shuriken with that energy.
-2 Energie Retrievals
-2 Professor's Letter

+3 Sycamore
+2 Shauna
+3 Birch
+3 Wally (gets you the 4 frogadier on turn one if you go second and have an energy)
+2 Trainer's Mail (good search card)

dang good point or we need a way to shut off abilities entirely
your damage is done with abilities so shutting them off completely is bad just remove the item then knock the garbodor out and always watch out for trubish killing them before they are garbodor
